(KGTV) - A San Diego homeless advocate known as “Waterman Dave” died Monday after a long battle with brain cancer.David Ross, 83, was known for using his own Social Security income to buy water for the homeless. He also found sponsors for portable restrooms. In 2010, Ross filed a lawsuit against a San Diego Police officer who Ross said assaulted him while he was handing out water in East Village. Ross said he suffered a concussion and torn rotator cuff. (KGTV) - A Pennsylvania groom is accused of sexually assaulting one of his wife’s bridesmaids days before his wedding, which occurred as scheduled. Daniel Carney, 28, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of an unconscious person and indecent assault at the Smithfield resort Aug. 30. Police said the assault reportedly happened after Carney and the bridesmaid were drinking alcohol. The bridesmaid told officers she blacked out, and when she regained consciousness her clothes were removed and Carney was fondling her. Surveillance video shows Carney pulling the woman into the men’s locker room, police said. According to police, the assault stopped when the bride caught him, but the wedding went on as planned Sept. 1. Court documents show investigators listened in on a call between Carney and his accuser, KABC reported. (KGTV) -- A large Hollywood-style Trump sign caught the attention of drivers in San Diego County throughout the day Wednesday.The massive sign could be seen along I-5 in the Del Mar area and comes just weeks after a similar sign was placed along the 405 freeway in the Sepulveda Pass.It’s unclear who placed the sign on the hillside or when it will be taken down.Watch video of the sign from Sky10 below:A similar incident happened in early October as drivers noticed an identical sign along the 405.That sign was taken down by Caltrans.
