Police bodycam footage shows a man body-slamming a suspect who was resisting arrest in Provo, Utah, police said.Officer Austin Williams was responding to a Sam’s Club on July 24 for a welfare check when a man attacked the officer, then fled on foot.As he was fleeing, bodycam video shows an unidentified man lift the suspect in the air and slam him to the ground."Chief Ferguson wants to thank that person for coming to the aid of an officer in need. We take pride in serving and protecting in Provo, so we are grateful to the unknown person who returned the favor and helped us safely take a dangerous person into custody," the department said in a Facebook post.The suspect was arrested and is facing charges including assaulting an officer. 756

PHOENIX — Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego says one area hospital is nearing capacity in its morgue and may be requesting refrigerated trucks. The morgue at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office is also reportedly near capacity.Gallego said Friday morning that officials are looking at an option to prevent problems at the Phoenix-area Abrazo Health Hospital."It's specific just to one area…this is not a statewide problem," Gallego said. "Maricopa County... is looking at everything they can do."Abrazo Health later issued a statement saying that they have "adequate" morgue space, but are taking "proactive" steps to ensure they have overflow morgue space if needed.Gallego added that "we are losing too many Arizonans." She also urged Arizona Gov. People who watch certain classic Disney movies on Disney+ will see a new, more strongly worded advisory warning about racist content.Disney announced last year when they launched they would include an advisory on some films that read "may contain outdated cultural depictions."Now, the advisory has stronger wording, and will be included on films like “Peter Pan,” “Dumbo” and “Lady and the Tramp” that contain racist or insensitive content. In a statement on their website, they explain their decision to add an advisory.“As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are in the process of reviewing our library and adding advisories to content that includes negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures. Rather than removing this content, we see an opportunity to spark conversation and open dialogue on history that affects us all,” the company states.Disney says they are making decisions on which films receive the advisory based on guidance from third-party partners, including AAFCA, GLAAD, NALIP, among others.This is what the new advisory says:This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures. Pinal County Sheriff's Office says an electronic road sign showed an offensive message overnight in Queen Creek. Several viewers of Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix reached out Friday morning regarding a road sign along Hunt Highway that said "Hail Hitler". According to PCSO, the department first received a call about the sign around 2:30 a.m. A private company reportedly owns the sign and Pinal County officials say they were unable to reach the company for help at that time. They also reached out to Pinal County's public works department for help, but they too were unable to turn off the sign. Crews eventually covered up the sign so it could no longer be seen by passing drivers. KNXV crews headed out to the area later Friday morning where workers were on scene and confirmed the sign no longer had the offensive message.KNXV has reached out to the company for comment on the incident but has not yet heard back.  970
