The CBS board of directors is in the process of picking outside counsel to conduct an investigation after company CEO Les Moonves was accused of sexual misconduct.In a statement, CBS said that "no other action" was taken on the matter at Monday's board meeting.The meeting was scheduled before a bombshell report in The New Yorker Friday detailed allegations against the CEO. The Clark County coroner ruled that Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul's death in June was due to natural causes. Paul, whose legal name was Vincent Paul Abbott, died of dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart becomes enlarged and cannot pump blood effectively. Severe coronary artery disease was identified as a significant condition to the cause of death. Paul died at his Las Vegas residence on June 22. He was 54.Paul was a founding member of Pantera and was also known for his work as a drummer for the metal band Hellyeah.  557

The country’s top infectious disease expert is standing by his prediction that even if a COVID-19 vaccine is available by the end of this year, Americans should not expect a return to normalcy until late next year.Dr. Anthony Fauci’s latest comments come in an interview with MSNBC Friday in which he says, “If you're talking about getting back to a degree of normality which resembles where we were prior to covid, it's going to be toward the middle of 2021, maybe even end of 2021.”These statements come as more states are relaxing social distancing and lockdown measures; opening more theaters, gyms, salons and indoor dining.Dr. Fauci, who is the director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, remains confident a vaccine will be available by the end of the year. The Department of Homeland Security is on heightened alert, watching for any election security issues.In the last week of October, hackers targeted at least six states, attempting to get into their voter databases and election security systems, according to the Boston Globe.
