(KGTV) — An 8-year-old Guatemalan boy in the care of U.S. Customs and Border Protection died shortly after midnight Tuesday in New Mexico, officials say.The child was in CBP custody when an agent noticed him showing signs of illness Monday. The child and his father were transferred to Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in New Mexico, where staff diagnosed the boy with a common cold and fever.The boy was released with prescriptions for Ibuprofen and amoxicillin later that day, officials said.RELATED: The final hours of Jakelin Caal Maquin, the Guatemalan girl who died in Border Patrol custodyMonday night, officials said the boy began vomiting and was taken back to the medical center, where officials say he died shortly after midnight Tuesday. The cause of the child's death is not known and officials did not release his identity.CBP officials said in a release that a review will be conducted, as is procedure, and the Guatemalan government has been notified. Officials said more information would be released shortly.The boy's death is the second death of a child in CBP care this month. (KGTV) - "Flippy," the burger-flipping robot introduced recently at a Pasadena, Calif., burger restaurant, has been taken offline after one day on the job.The robot was taken off the line, in fast-food terms, at CaliBurger, BBC News reported, after it was unable to keep up with demand. Miso Robotics introduced the robot as a potential replacement to human cooks.So the burger-flipping robot has been switched off until coders can update it.RELATED: This robotic arm is designed to flip burgersInterest and news about Flippy's "hiring" created an increased demand at the restaurant, leading to more orders than it could handle.CaliBurger is reportedly working with staff to make sure the kitchen is working around Flippy as efficiently as possible as well. The restaurant hopes to eventually deploy Flippys in more of its locations.Miso Robotics says Flippy can detect when raw burger patties are placed on the grill and monitors each one. Michelle Lujan Grisham wants to provide state residents with free tuition to public colleges, a plan that, if passed by the state legislature, would add New Mexico to the growing list of Democratic-led states to offer free higher education.Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, announced the New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship on Wednesday while speaking at an education summit at Central New Mexico Community College. The plan would provide free undergraduate tuition at New Mexico colleges for in-state residents and aims to cover nearly 55,000 students a year. It would cover tuition and fees for recent high school graduates at four-year public colleges as well as recent high school graduates and returning adult learners at two-year community colleges."We're going to deliver a major boost. F-R-E-E, let's make it proof," Lujan Grisham said drawing a standing ovation and applause from the audience. "It's been a really long time since I crossed the stage for my diploma at the University of New Mexico, but even though I spelled it out very slowly, I still know what FREE spells and I also know that free college for New Mexico students is the right thing to do."The program is estimated to cost between to million, according to Lujan Grisham's office, and would be paid for in part by federal grants and the New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship. Denver ranked 37th on the list followed by San Francisco at 48th, Seattle-Tacoma at 57th and Los Angeles 71st. Denver, the highest rated airport in the U.S., was ranked 37th Unfortunately for America’s Finest City, the San Diego International Airport didn’t make the list. All three of the world’s top airports are located in Asia. The Singapore Changi airport took home the list’s top spot for the seventh year in a row followed by Tokyo Haneda and Seoul Incheon. The Singapore Changi Airport connects to more than 200 destinations around the world. In 2017, the airport served 60 million passengers from nearly 100 countries. According to its website, the World Airport awards began in 1999 when Skytrax launched its first global airport satisfaction survey. The goal of the survey is for customers to "make their own, personal choices as to which airport they consider to be the best."
