AURORA, Colo. — Three Aurora police officers under investigation for a photograph taken near the site where Elijah McClain struggled with officers were seen in the picture imitating the carotid hold used on McClain by police before the 23-year-old Black man died last August, two sources with knowledge of the situation told KMGH on Tuesday.Neither source had personally seen the photograph of the officers as of Tuesday afternoon, though they were aware of what the photograph showed.Aurora Interim Police Chief Vanessa Wilson on Monday night announced the officers were being investigated for a photograph but declined to say what the photograph showed.Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman on Tuesday tweeted that he was "deeply concerned over the facts surrounding the photographs," but Coffman also did not detail what was shown in the photographs.The officers were notified of their disciplines on Tuesday morning, the sources told KMGH, but the punishments were not yet public. Officers have a three-day period to appeal the discipline, the sources said.The picture depicting the involved officers was sent in a group text to other officers before it was reported to police officials, the sources said.Earlier Tuesday, Aurora police spokesperson Officer Matthew Longshore said the photos were reported to the department by a fellow Aurora officer, which the sources said occurred last Thursday. He said the police chief review board – comprised of the department’s three division chiefs and the deputy police chief – were reviewing the photos and will make a decision on whether, or how to, punish the officers.Longshore said that the officers could potentially be terminated depending on the review board’s decision. (AP) — Authorities say a woman stole ,000 worth of quarters and her getaway car was a baby stroller.Bakersfield police officers noticed the woman Friday struggling to push the stroller but quickly realized there was no baby inside, according to the Bakersfield Californian .Police discovered the quarters, which 29-year-old Darrin Fritz had allegedly just stolen from a home, the newspaper reported. AUSTIN, Texas. (KGTV) -- A series of explosions in Austin has terrified residents as hundreds of local and federal officials try and determine who is behind the incidents. The first explosion was set off on March 2 and killed 39-year-old Anthony Stephan House. Numerous other people have been killed or injured by the series of bombings including 17-year-old Draylen Mason, who was killed after a package bomb went off inside his home on March 12. Mason's mother was also injured in the explosion. A 75-year-old woman, 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were also all injured in the serial bombings. The six bombings left police in Austin warning residents to not take any chances, saying if it looks suspicious, don't approach it. The timeline below shows all six of the bombings federal officials believe are tied together:  887

AZUSA (CNS) - A homeless man suspected of intentionally starting the Ranch 2 Fire in Azusa surrendered to authorities Sunday, while firefighters endured another day battling the blaze amid scorching temperatures.The fire, which grew to 2,256 acres overnight, was just 7% contained Sunday.The man suspected of intentionally starting the fire, 36-year-old Osmin Palencia, was in custody at the Azusa Police Department jail. Police did not release further information except to say that the investigation was still active, and urged anyone with information about the fire's origin to call 626- 812-3200.On Saturday, police said Palencia was believed to have a connection to the Monrovia area and possibly a woman known as "Madonna Ortiz."
