President Donald Trump has been using the Rose Garden a lot more lately for statements and news conferences in the age of coronavirus. The First Lady says the renovation will make the garden more accessible to people with disabilities, and make improvements for audiovisual and broadcasting needs. It will also provide improve drainage and conditions for the plants and flowers. “The very act of planting a garden involves hard work and hope in the possibility of a bright future,” the First Lady said in a statement published to the White House website. “Preserving the history and beauty of the White House and its grounds is a testament to our nation’s commitment to the care of this landscape and our dedication to American ideals, safeguarding them for our children and their children for generations to come.”The Rose Garden was first installed in 1962 during the Kennedy Administration. WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A man has been arrested and charged after police say he threw his wife into the Provo River in Utah on Sunday.According to an arrest report, 61-year-old Douglas Harold Green and his wife were at the Provo River Resort, located just downriver from Deer Creek State Park in Wasatch County, when they began arguing over dinner arrangements.Police say Green became angry and threatened to drown her in the river. He then dragged her to the bank of the Provo River and forced her in, the probable cause statement says.Witnesses said they tried to help her, but Green yelled at them to stay away.Police said the woman had a bruise on each arm, which she said were from Green dragging her. VISTA (CNS) - An Oceanside man convicted of abusing his neighbors' dogs, including gouging out the eye of a Siberian Husky, was sentenced to nearly 10 years in custody Friday.Jurors last summer found 37-year-old David C.
