The Salt Lake Tribune reported late Monday night that at least one person has died in a 'shots fired' incident on the University of Utah's campus. According to the university, it asked those on campus to "shelter in place" Monday night as authorities looked for the gunman, and other possible victims. Traffic was reportedly blocked off, and mass transit was shut down in the immediate vicinity of the shooting. The suspect is said to be 24-year-old Austin J. Boutain, who was wearing a coat, jeans and beanie, with a teardrop tattoo on his face. The university added that he may have been driving a forest green pick-up truck with Colorado plates.As of early Tuesday morning, he was still on the loose, and considered dangerous. 767

The Wounded Warrior Project has released its 2017 survey results. The organization says the survey was completed by 34,000 veterans this year. The results showed that more injured veterans are trusting the Department of Veterans Affairs for health care concerns.The results also showed that more warriors are gainfully employed than in past years.Below are some of the challenges faced by veterans who were surveyed.  445

The South Bend Police Department offers its sincerest condolences to Officer Alan Wiegand and his family during this difficult time following the tragic loss of their child while in Puerto Rico. The department asks the community to pray for the entire Wiegand family as they grieve and to respect their privacy.Royal Caribbean Cruises called it a tragic incident and said they were helping the family.
