A new study has found that those who drink moderate amounts of alcohol or coffee lived longer than those who didn’t, reports the Chicago Tribune.The research was led by University of California neurologist Claudia Kawas who tracked 1,700 nonagenarians enrolled in the 90+ study, which began in 2003.According to researchers, those who drank roughly two glasses of beer or wine a day were 18 percent less likely to experience premature death.The findings mean that, according to the research, drinking alcohol increased longevity more than exercise.The study found that participants who exercised 15 to 45 minutes a day cut their risk of early death by 11 percent.And good news for coffee lovers. Participants who drank two cups of coffee a day also increased longevity by 10 percent.The study also found that people who were overweight in their 70s lived longer than normal or underweight people. 904

A Milwaukee County bus crashed near a busy college campus on Tuesday.The bus crashed near Johnston Hall on Marquette's campus in downtown Milwaukee.The Milwaukee Fire Department says at around 5:15 p.m. a Route 12 bus lost control while turning left. The bus ended up on the sidewalk near Gesu Church. Marquette Police said five people sustained non-life-threatening injuries. MU police also said the bus hit Johnston Hall and caused damage to the front of the building. A man was chased and shot with a stun gun after exposing himself inside a Phoenix Walmart.Phoenix police report that on April 8, an off-duty uniformed officer noticed a man exposing himself, while inside the store. The officer called for backup and watched as 21-year-old Juan Castro Torres, exposed and touched himself while observing female customers. Police contacted Torres as he left the store, but he fought with the officers and broke free, running back into the store. Police pursued Torres up and down the aisles until he was shot with a stun gun and taken into custody. Torres has been charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. 692
