Recent Vanderbilt University graduates who made a germ-resistant phone case after contracting COVID-19 have now sold 1,000 cases. They are able to fill orders as soon as they come in and make good on their promise to donate a case to a healthcare worker for each one purchased.On Friday, Aeris donated phone cases to Vanderbilt University Medical Center."I am very excited to see what these 250 healthcare workers have to say," said Lichter.Next, the company plans to donate cases to hospitals in their hometowns, including New York City and San Diego.Aeris is working on new designs that incorporate copper."We see the future as copper-covered," said Lichter. According to the Redwood City Fire Department, the sea lion was rescued from a parking structure. The 5-month-old pup, named Santos by the department, made it back to the fire station where he posed for pictures before taking a nap. President Donald Trump signed a 0 billion stimulus bill on Sunday, with some of those funds going toward direct payments for millions of Americans. While the bill has been signed into law, there are still a number of unknowns about the bill.Here is what is known:- Congress has authorized that most Americans making less than ,000 a year will get a direct payment of 0 (couples making less than 0,000 a year will get ,200). Heads of households making 4,500 annually also will receive the full 0.- Those making ,000 to ,000 (0,000 to 4,000 for couples) will get a prorated check. Those making over ,000 (4,000 for couples) will not receive a check.- Once again, young adults considered dependents of their parents are not eligible for the payments.- The amount given per child under the age of 17 will increase from 0 to 0.- Americans will receive the second round of stimulus checks the same way they received the first one.- While most Americans who received a stimulus check in the spring will receive one, changes to income between 2018 and 2019 could alter payments.What is unknown:- Will Congress authorize an increase of the direct payments from 0 to ,000.
