(KGTV) - A brush fire broke out Friday afternoon in the hills east of Burbank.Burbank firefighters and police officers closed roads near Sunset Canyon Drive and Harvard Road about 2 p.m.The location of the fire is above a residential neighborhood. Crews are evacuating hikers in the area.There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.The flames are burning near the site of the La Tuna Fire, which burned more than 7,000 acres and five homes in September 2017.10News is monitoring breaking developments.  545

An official with a group that supported the project says the sign was unveiled in Pittsboro and funded by residents in the city. (AP) — NASCAR has cleared Kyle Larson to return in 2021, ending his long suspension for using a racial slur while playing a video racing game. “NASCAR continues to prioritize diversity and inclusion across our sport,” the sanctioning body said in an official statement. “Kyle Larson has fulfilled the requirements set by NASCAR and has taken several voluntary measures, to better educate himself so that he can use his platform to help bridge the divide in our country," NASCAR said in a press release. "Larson’s indefinite suspension has been lifted. Under the terms of his reinstatement, he will be cleared to return to all NASCAR racing activities effective January 1, 2021.”Larson was suspended in April after he used the n-word while playing an online racing game in which viewers could follow along. According to the Associated Press, Larson lost communication and during his mic check, he said “you can’t hear me?” That was followed by the N-word.He was dropped by his sponsors and fired by Chip Ganassi Racing. "We were sailing from Singapore and were being dropped off in Hong Kong. "They were gonna implement certain temperature gauges, every time we got off and got back on from every port we were traveling to," said Revilla. CHICAGO (KGTV) -- Police say three people were shot and one person is dead after a shooting at a Starbucks in Chicago Thursday night.According to ABC 7 in Chicago, the shooting happened in the city's Uptown neighborhood at 8:30 p.m. Police say a 12-year-old was transported to the hospital in unknown condition after being shot in the groin. An adult male was shot and took himself to the hospital.
