SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - One man is behind bars Saturday after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through North San Diego County, ending at a Riverside County casino.Augustine Robinson was arrested inside Pechanga Casino, after leading deputies on a pursuit that began in San Marcos, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.Deputies said Robinson stopped at a Shell gas station at 400 Sycamore Ave. in Vista at about 5:30 a.m. and told the clerk to put an undisclosed amount of money on a pump. The clerk reportedly told Robinson he had to pay for the fuel but Robinson gestured toward his pocket and said, "You should put it on the pump."MAP: Track crime in your neighborhoodThe clerk, thinking Robinson had a weapon, did as he demanded. Robinson also grabbed a drink from a refrigerator before filling his car and leaving, deputies added.Deputies came across Robinson's suspected vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. A pursuit began and lasted for about 50 minutes, taking deputies through San Marcos, Vista, Escondido, and into Riverside County.The chase ended at Pechanga, where deputies said Robinson fled and was stopped just inside the casino entrance. No injuries were reported.Deputies have booked Robinson in the Vista Detention Facility and charged him with robbery and reckless evading. 1339

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Parks and libraries in city limits of San Diego are back open as of Saturday, Oct. 3 after more than six months of closures and caution tape.To begin, 12 city libraries first opened for in-person services, then more will gradually open. The first library locations to resume in-person services include Central, Carmel Valley, Point Loma, Mission Valley, Rancho Bernardo, Malcolm X/Valencia Park, Mira Mesa, Logan Heights, San Ysidro, La Jolla, Mission Hills-Hillcrest, and College-Rolando.The libraries will open at 25% capacity starting Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The facilities will close for cleaning from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. daily and frequently touched areas will be cleaned hourly and after each usage. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One man was arrested and another man was injured after a violent argument at a Gaslamp convenience store.San Diego Police say a customer at the 7-11 store at 515 5th Ave. was causing a disturbance at about 9 a.m. Saturday. Another customer confronted the man inside the store and the confrontation escalated into a fight.At one point, the 31-year-old suspect stabbed the 52-year-old victim in the left side of his abdomen, police said.The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police arrested the suspect, though their identities were not released. 614

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Police are investigating a shooting in Ocean Beach that left a man dead early Tuesday morning.According to San Diego police, gunfire was reported at around 1 a.m. on the beach by Lifeguard Tower No. 2 near 1900 Abbott Street. Witnesses reported hearing as many as four shots fired, ABC 10News learned.Responding officers arrived at the scene to find an unidentified man with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body.Despite life-saving measures, the man was declared dead at the scene. The victim was described by police as a man in his 50s or 60s, and witnesses believe he was homeless and frequents the Ocean Beach area. Officers are searching the area for the gunman, but a detailed description of the suspected shooter was not immediately available. 784
