Uncle Jesse is now a first-time dad.John Stamos shared a photo late Sunday of his newborn son laying on his chest."From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son," Stamos wrote. "So we said, 'Oh, well, maybe we should have a family.'"The "Fuller House" star posted a throwback pic last month from his "Full House" days showing his character, Uncle Jesse, sporting a baby bump and a shirt which read "Bun in the Oven.""This is the longest 9 months of my life! #cantwait 4 #fatherhood," he wrote in the caption.  916

Uber announced Thursday that it's introduced safety features in select markets, including a new emergency button.Denver is one of the cities where Uber is testing the new safety features. They're designed to keep riders connected if they need help, so even if they're riding alone, they're never really by themselves.Among the new features is an emergency button that connects users directly to a dispatcher. In some pilot cities, like Denver, once a rider presses the emergency button, their location and trip details will be automatically sent to the 911 dispatcher. There are other initiatives Uber is planning to roll out this summer across the country, and not just in pilot cities. In the "Safety Center," users can find tips from law enforcement, learn things like how Uber screens drivers, and insurance protections. "Trusted Contacts" allows riders to pick up to five friends and family members and share trip details with them during every ride. That way, they can follow you along and know when they've arrived. When it comes to drivers, Uber says it is also strengthening its screening process and will keep doing background checks on drivers every year. They're even investing in technology to let them know if a driver has a new offense.Uber says based on how the 911 pilot goes in Denver, they will decide whether or not to expand to other cities. 1417

No racist police," and the name of George Floyd, who died Memorial Day in Minneapolis after being taken into police custody, City News Service reported. The group eventually marched toward the San Diego Police Department, where they gathered in the early evening to continue their demonstration. Many marched back to Balboa Park afterward.Protest leaders could be heard urging those marching not to commit vandalism and use chalk to leave messages on the sidewalk, CNS added.Monday's protest comes on the heels of demonstrations in downtown San Diego on Sunday and La Mesa on Saturday. US President Donald Trump took aim at two of America's closest allies in a speech at the NRA convention, saying strict gun laws failed to prevent the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris and highlighting a purported increase in knife violence in London. The comments provoked anger in both France and Britain.France was especially incensed after Trump, while speaking at the gun rights convention in Dallas on Friday, pointed his hand as if it were a gun while describing how each of the victims in Paris was fatally shot."They took their time and gunned them down one by one -- boom, come over here, boom, come over here, boom," he said. The French foreign ministry issued a statement Saturday after Trump's comments."France expresses its firm disapproval of President Trump's remarks ... and calls for the respect of the memory of the victims," it said.Francois Hollande, who was the French President during the 2015 attacks, tweeted Saturday:"Donald Trump's shameful remarks and obscene histrionics say a lot about what he thinks of France and its values. The friendship between our two peoples will not be tainted by disrespect and excessiveness. All my thoughts go to the victims of November 13." 1202
