Facebook said Wednesday it is banning groups and accounts associated with QAnon, U.S.-based militia groups and anarchist groups that support violence. But the company will continue allow people to post material that supports these groups - so long as they do not otherwise violate its content policies against things like hate speech and abuse. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - The United States Department of Veterans Affairs is being sued in federal court over an Oceanside doctor who is accused of sexually assaulting multiple patients. According to the lawsuit filed this week, the VA is being sued for alleged negligence. Dr. Edgar Manzanera is criminally accused of sexually assaulting five female patients but has pleaded not guilty. One of his accusers who is a veteran is a plaintiff in the new federal suit. According to the complaint, she claims that the Oceanside clinic failed to warn her that several patients had already complained about the doctor's alleged inappropriate sexual contact. According to the court documents, the "…VA did not investigate these prior complaints, or suspend Manzanera from evaluating women for VA."In an email to 10News, a VA spokesperson wrote, “VA does not typically comment on pending litigation.”Dr. Manzanera’s criminal trial starts in September. 952

(AP) — Northern California authorities have arrested a woman they say scammed ,100 from a 75-year-old who lost a home in a wildfire last year that killed 85.The Butte County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday the arrest of 29-year-old Brenda Rose Asbury for elder abuse, embezzlement and grand theft.Detectives say Asbury stole from an insurance settlement that the victim received after losing a home in the 2018 Camp Fire.A warrant for her arrest was issued in September.Asbury turned herself in to Butte County authorities on Monday after driving three days from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and on the advice of her attorney, Michael Erpino of Chico.Sheriff's office spokeswoman Megan McMann said Asbury is in jail on ,100 bail.She is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday. 793

(KGTV) -- Three suspects were arrested Monday after reportedly shooting and injuring three women at an Oceanside shopping center.Police say Anthony Tua, 19, Deshune Bryant, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile were all arrested for the shooting.Investigators don’t believe the victims were the intended targets because the suspects reportedly shot into a large group of people. The shooting appears to be gang motivated, according to police.RELATED: Three women injured in Oceanside shooting  The shooting took place on the 3700 block of Mission Avenue at 5:15 p.m. Sunday.According to police, three women were in the front of a clothing store when three black men suddenly came up to them before shooting.
