The U.S. Marine Corps says it has lifted a "shelter-in-place" order at the Air Ground Combat Center (AGCC) in Twentynine Palms, California following earlier reports of an "active shooter."According to a statement from the Marines, the order was enacted when an "individual" suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the base at about 8:30 a.m. PT. No other injuries were reported. The person who fired the gun has been transported to a local medical center for treatment.The Marines say they are investigating.Shortly after 8:30 a.m., the Marines tweeted that they were "aware of reports" of an active shooter at the AGCC. Later, both KESQ-TV in Palm Springs, California and KTTV-TV in Los Angeles reported — citing a base spokesperson — that a suspect had been taken into custody and that there were no reports of injuries. The White House released a Heritage Foundation report that found 1,071 instances of voting fraud, but those instances date back into the 20th century, making up a very small fraction of 1% of all votes cast since then.Department of Justice attorneys say they stand at the ready to assist voters in ensuring they will be able to vote on Election Day.“Ensuring free and fair elections depends in large part on the cooperation of the American electorate,” the US Attorneys’ Office said in a statement. “It is imperative that those who have specific information about discrimination or election fraud make that information available.”The DOJ said it will have FBI special agents available in each field office and resident agency throughout the country to receive allegations of election fraud and other election abuses on Election Day. The Tampa Police Department is searching for a young man who was caught on camera doing a skateboard trick across a custom-painted car in Ybor City.A spokesperson for the police department said the case is being investigated as a felony criminal mischief. Detectives would like to speak with Dalton Newbury as a person of interest. According to those who have shared the video that's getting thousands of shares on Facebook, it was originally posted to Instagram by the skateboarder himself.
