Zhang hoped that Macao can fully and faithfully implement the four requirements made by President Xi in his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the fourth-term SAR government, and to build a better future for Macao by utilizing the favorable initiatives offered by the central government.
Phankham said Laos regards China as a trustworthy partner and example for development, adding his country hopes to implement the consensus reached by the two countries' leaders, deepen friendship and upgrade relations between the two parties and countries.
"China has become the first or second largest trading partner of most SCO members, and offered key proposals to set the legal and operational basis of the SCO. All such efforts have made the bloc more influential in regional political, economic, cultural and security arrangements," he added.
According to the meeting, a long-term supervision and early warning system should be established to keep an eye on resources and environmental constraints on economic development. Environmental monitoring should be conducted in a scientific way with collection of reliable data.
During the three-month expo, the Chinese pavilion will hold more than 200 activities involving over 2,000 enterprises. They include 30 international activities, such as the China-Kazakhstan Energy Cooperation Forum.
