French President Emmanuel Macron tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, according to CNN and the Associated Press.Macron's office confirmed Thursday that the 42-year-old Macron received a test after experiencing symptoms of the virus, which later came back positive.Macron will isolate himself for seven days but will continue to carry out his duties as president remotely.Macron's wife, Brigitte, 67, has no symptoms but will also self-isolate. She tested negative for the virus on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.According to CNN, Macron has met with several other world leaders in recent days, many of whom have now said they plan to isolate. Among them is Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and European Council President Charles Michel. French Prime Minister Jean Castex is also self-isolating.The Associated Press also reports that Macron met with the prime minister of Portugal on Wednesday.Macron's planned trip to Lebanon next week has been canceled.Macron is just the latest world leader to test positive for the virus. (KGTV) - The former Camp Pendleton Marine accused of supporting a Christmas Day terror attack at San Francisco's Pier 39 popular tourist destination was sentenced Monday to 15 years in prison.Everitt Aaron Jameson, 26, pleaded guilty to the plot in June. He supported radical ISIS jihadi beliefs, wrote social media posts supporting terrorism, communicated with people he believed supported his views, and offered to provide services to them with a tow truck, according to a report written by FBI Special Agent Christopher McKinney.A confidential source alerted the FBI last fall to a Facebook account Jameson ran, agents said.  Jameson “liked” and “loved” posts that were pro-ISIS and pro-terrorist, the source told the FBI. Among the posts was a picture of Santa Claus standing in New York with a box of dynamite.RELATED: Ex-Marine who planned Christmas Day terror attack pleads guiltyJameson met with an FBI undercover employee he believed to be associated with ISIS and described his interest in planning and undertaking a violent attack in San Francisco, the report said.Agent McKinney said James specifically mentioned Pier 39 in San Francisco because he had been there before and knew it was a densely crowded area.According to the undercover agent, Jameson said he wanted to use explosives and “funnel” people into a location where he could inflict casualties. He said he needed ammunition, powder, tubing, nails, timers, and remote detonators. Jameson planned to go to the mountains and build the devices at a remote campground, then store them at his home in Modesto, said officials.A search warrant was executed at Jameson’s Central Valley home on Dec. 20. Investigators found his will and a handwritten letter. Fourth of July celebrations may look a little different this year, but the U.S. Department of Agriculture says you should still be able to enjoy your favorite patriotic foods in a safe way.No matter how you’re celebrating, the USDA is encouraging Americans to make food safety and other public health recommendations a part of their festivities.USDA officials offered these tips to ensure a food safe Fourth of July:Don’t cross-contaminateAlways keep raw meat and their juices from touching other foods.While grilling, avoid using the same utensils for cooked and ready-to-eat foods that were previously used with raw meat or poultry products. Wash and sanitize all surfaces and utensils after they touch raw items. (A recent USDA survey showed that 34% of respondents do not follow an important step to use a different utensil to take food off the grill.)Bring enough tools to keep your raw meat and poultry away from any cooked or ready-to-eat foods and have extra cleaning and sanitizing supplies ready for your surfaces, plates and utensils.Use a food thermometerSome grill masters may say they know their food is done just by looking at its color when it comes off the grill, but the USDA says that’s not possible and shouldn’t be relied upon. That’s where a food thermometer comes in.“More than 25% of burgers can turn brown inside before they are fully cooked,” said FSIS Administrator Paul Kiecker. “Although your grilled foods may look done, foodborne illness causing germs are not killed until the safe internal temperature has been reached. Using a food thermometer is the only way to know your food is done and safe to eat.”The USDA recommended safe minimum internal temperatures are:· Beef, pork, lamb and veal (steaks, roasts and chops): 145°F then rest for three-minutes· Fish: 145°F· Ground meats (beef, pork, lamb and veal): 160°F· Whole poultry, poultry breasts and ground poultry: 165°FKeep foods at safe temperaturesPerishable food items should not be left outside for more than two hours, and only one hour if the temperature is at or above 90°F.Keep your food at or below 40°F, in coolers or containers with a cold source, such as ice or frozen gel packs. FORT MYERS, Fla. - The headmaster of Evangelical Christian School sent an email saying a teacher was fired after admitting sexual misconduct with a student. The email said a female upper school teacher has had her position terminated, effective immediately. Deputies arrested 35-year-old Suzanne Owens, charging her with custodial sexual battery, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said.
