One of the children allegedly held captive by her parents in a California home posted video and photos on secret social media accounts, according to ABC News.ABC News obtained video from a YouTube account that offers short glimpses inside the Turpin family home in Perris. The YouTube account belongs to the 17-year-old Turpin daughter who escaped the house and notified authorities.The girl used an alias on the account, ABC News reported.The YouTube account includes clips of the teen singing songs she says she wrote herself and playing with one of the family's two dogs. One of the girl's video clips includes a look at a room with clothes scattered everywhere.The most recent clip on the account was posted about a week before she escaped from the home.ABC News also reported the teen had an Instagram page -- also using an alias -- that featured selfies, photos of animals and images of singer Justin Bieber.  933

Accepted items do vary so depending on where you live, but there are some standard items you should recycle.First, cardboard that's clean and flattened, including shoe and shipping boxes. Wrapping paper can be recycled too, but only if there's no glitter or foil on it. The same thing goes for ribbons and bows. If you want to de-clutter, you can throw in your Christmas cards.Now, as previously mentioned, there are some things recyclers don't want to see. Those items include clothing, cellophane wrapping, or holiday lights. Any packing materials like bubble wrap or packing peanuts should go in the trash.Also, don't forget about the Christmas tree. Oceanside may convert two of its elected city positions into City Council appointed ones, leading to concerns that the city is taking key decisions away from voters. The Oceanside City Council will decide Wednesday whether it should have the authority to appoint the City Clerk and City Treasurer. The city says the positions have become “significantly more complex” due to state laws and regulations. “Both positions perform critical City functions, and they require specialized education and experience to property discharge their many duties that likely cannot be properly achieved (or guaranteed) via an elected position.” The City Treasurer position has been a controversial one in Oceanside. In 2016, incumbent Gary Ernst died just weeks before the election, leaving Oceanside resident Nadine Scott as the lone living person on the ballot. However, multiple City Council members campaigned on Ernst’s behalf because they said Scott wasn’t qualified. Ernst won, clearing the way for the council to appoint Rafe Edward Trickey Jr. Scott said Monday she was troubled by the decision before the council. Current treasurer Victor Roy defeated Tricket Jr. in the 2018 election, and currently holds the office. City Clerk Zeb Navarro was recently appointed after Zack Beck stepped down to take a position in Escondido. Oceanside Mayor Peter Weiss said the jobs are part time and pay about ,000 a year. (KGTV) - A man was hit by a train and killed Tuesday night near Surfrider Way and North Cleveland Street in Oceanside just before 8 p.m. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department told 10News the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.At 8 p.m., Metrolink Orange County tweeted that the Amtrak 591 train hit a person on the tracks. They then tweeted that the tracks were closed and they were working on alternate transportation for passengers.  497
