Grocery chain Kroger announced Tuesday that is plans to hire 1,000 people to administer coronavirus vaccines at the chain’s 2,200 pharmacies and 220 clinics.Kroger’s vaccine program launches this week in the state of Alaska as health care workers in Anchorage and Juneau will be vaccinated by Kroger staff. Kroger says that it is working with state and federal officials to vaccinate others in prioritized populations, such as health care workers, and those living and working in assisted living facilities.Kroger is not the only major company to assist in administering vaccines. CVS and Walgreens began administering vaccines to those living and working in assisted living facilities this week.“Kroger Health is a COVID-19 response leader that has provided our patients, associates and other businesses with diagnostic testing tools and supporting resources since the onset of this public health crisis,” said Colleen Lindholz, Kroger Health’s president. “Kroger Health’s experienced health care providers remain committed to helping our patients and associates live healthier lives. (AP) — Authorities discovered a camel, a cow and a donkey roaming together along a Kansas road in a grouping reminiscent of a Midwestern Christmas Nativity scene.The Goddard Police Department asked for help Sunday in locating the owners of the “three friends traveling together (towards a Northern star).”Police said in a Facebook post that if they couldn’t find the owners, they would be “halfway toward a live Nativity this Christmas season.”Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Lt. Tim Meyers says the animals belong to an employee of the nearby Tanganyika Wildlife Park.One person who replied to the Facebook post inquired, “Are there 3 wise looking men near?” Another speculated that they “may lead you to the Second Coming.”Goddard is about 15 miles (24 kilometers) west of Wichita. 799

In an article for the website Motherboard, Grauer gives a list of people search sites and how to request that your information be removed.Some sites like MyLife, require a phone call or email. But others have more hoops for you to jump through."They want you to mail your driver’s license," Grauer said.Even then, removal may not be permanent."You have to repeat this process every three months or so," Grauer says of the privacy service.Grauer says the privacy service, Delete Me, offers to continuously have you removed for an annual fee.But Grauer says the easiest way to keep them out of your business is to "be careful about not giving out your information as much as possible."That could mean using a P.O. box or your work address to receive mail — or using your initials instead of your full name when making purchases. 1316
