They are asking for the public to share any images from Alexander's Corner to Rodman Avenue between 10:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday.The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to ,000 to anyone with information that could lead to an arrest.“She is like the most upbeat mail carrier. It was raining and she still was just glowing, just walking as fast as she could,” said Gould.She says it was only minutes after she saw her bubbly letter carrier that she heard the sirens.“The police were out there picking up all the mail and trying to gather it, and all you do is just watch them.”Gould watched nearby as first responders worked desperately to find signs of life.“They tried for the longest time to revive her. I’ve never seen them try so long and so hard, and she just wasn’t moving.”Multiple neighbors say the intersection at Airline Boulevard and Caroline Avenue is a trouble spot and say something needs to be done about cars flying through the area.“We need a light here we; really need a light here. If they don’t get a street light here, it’s gonna keep getting bad,” said Gould.Now, Gould is pleading for someone who may have details about the driver who left the scene or their vehicle to come forward.“I’m begging, somebody - please hold somebody accountable for this lady’s life, please.”In the meantime, she’ll be thinking of victim’s family, hoping they get closure before the holidays.“If you did it, and you know you did, it was an accident; please come forward. He has said it will be a woman and she will be conservative.If the nominee goes through, it would give conservative justices a 6-3 majority over their more liberal counterparts.That sets up talk about abortion, but the Roe v. Wade debate isn't all about the Supreme Court.“Enough lower courts have not decided what they think about this,” said Carol Sanger, a professor at the Columbia law school. “We, the Supreme Court, doesn't like to lead on a particular issue until the lower courts who have trials and so on have thought about it.”Under a conservative majority, the Supreme Court has ruled on an abortion case. Conservative Chief Justice John Roberts sided with a ruling that kept abortion clinics open by not requiring abortion doctors to have nearby hospital admitting privileges.The high court already ruled on a similar case out of Texas.“There is a special doctrine called stare decisis, which means when you have a case and it’s like a previous case, look to that previous case and say how did that come out,” said Sanger. “And unless there is a very, very strong reason to change that decision, you follow precedent, you follow what happened the last time this issue came up.”Sanger says enough lower courts have to rule and be split on the decision to make it to the Supreme Court.The Supreme Court would need to decide it wants to take up Roe v. Wade before courts before them. Sanger believes that's unlikely to happen.“It seems pretty clear that he doesn't want to be known as the guy who had Roe knocked out under his chief justice-ship,” said Sanger.Both Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch said they accepted Roe v. (KGTV) - The Poway Unified School District Board of the Education unanimously passed an anti-racism resolution at their virtual meeting Thursday.“In this resolution, the Poway Unified School District makes a commitment to really looking at diverse curriculum, and representing diverse points of view, as well as committing to hiring diverse staff,” PUSD Chief Communications Officer Christine Paik said.“(The district) will also look at anti-racist and anti-bias training. We want to expand it to all of our staff members and students,” Paik added.The resolution comes after an Instagram page called “Black in PUSD” was recently created.
