More than 200 interviews have been conducted in the investigation into the disappearance of University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts, according to the special agent in charge.Tibbetts, 20, disappeared nearly two weeks ago in Brooklyn, a small community an hour east of Des Moines, according to the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office.The hundreds of interviews are related to tips investigators have received, said Richard Rahn, the special agent in charge with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation for the Major Crime Unit. While some are excited about lighting-fast internet, others are concerned about their health.Everyone is connected, everywhere, thanks to wireless technology. Traditionally, large cell towers placed around the city would have enough capacity and power to accommodate cellphone users. With the increased popularity of smartphones and social media, the FCC says 4G is not enough to demands. It is now the 5G age. The federal government is now requiring larger connectivity, with smaller infrastructure called "Small Cells.""We're looking to see community wants," Deputy City Attorney for National City Robby Contreras said. National City is asking for community input on how they should proceed with their "Small Cells" roll-out. "Small Cells" are little, low-powered wireless base stations, installed onto already existing traffic lights. They provide 5G speeds without new huge towers.The City of San Diego already began its installation of "Small Cells." Many of them can be seen along First Street downtown. At this point, National City has only a handful of Small Cells that were installed after a pre-existing agreement from a decade ago. NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Metro Police have identified the six officers who first responded to the scene of the downtown explosion Christmas morning. City officials say these officers showed up to a "shots fired" call on 2nd Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Upon arrival, an RV on the street played a recording and countdown, saying the vehicle contained a bomb and warning everyone to leave the area. According to police, three suspects entered the Eclipse Jewelry store just before 12:30 p.m. The suspects, only described as police as three black men, smashed three to six jewelry cases and got away with an unknown amount of jewelry. Police are looking into whether or not this incident is linked to a string of jewelry store robberies in late 2018 and early 2017.
