President-elect Joe Biden says the day he is sworn in as president, he will ask all Americans to wear a mask for 100 days. "Just 100 days to mask, not forever. 100 days. A scientific model released in October predicted 500,000 American deaths from coronavirus by March if there is no change to mask wearing and social distancing. The study found that if even 85 percent of Americans wore a mask routinely, almost 100,000 lives could be saved between now and March. However, those estimates may be out of date, as the coronavirus has spiked in the month of November, reaching to almost 14 million total positive cases and more than 275,000 deaths as of December 3, and shows no signs of slowing down in December, especially as health experts warn we have not seen a spike from Thanksgiving travel yet in coronavirus case numbers. The FDA is expected to grant emergency use authorization to Pfizer and Moderna's coronavirus vaccine in the next few weeks. However, masking and social distancing will still be needed since the vaccine will not be available to everyone right away. Biden told CNN he would be "happy to" get a coronavirus vaccine once Dr. Fauci and the FDA say it is safe. His comments come one day after three former presidents, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, said they would publicly get the coronavirus vaccine to demonstrate its safety to others. 1863

Reports indicate that Toys R Us could be the next retailer to file for bankruptcy.The Wall Street Journal reports that the toy retailer could file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the next few weeks, just a few months out from the crucial holiday season.According to the Journal, the chain's suppliers are hesitant to ship new items before putting money down. The company is facing a debt of billion stemming from a leveraged buyout in 2005.Toys R Us has already received most of its holiday shipments, but could soon be prevented from receiving any additional toys before the shopping season begins.Toys R Us is just one of a number of retailers who have struggled as Americans have started doing more of their shopping online. RANCHO SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The boyfriend of a missing woman refused to take a polygraph test Monday - on the same day Arizona police arrested him for identity theft and forgery. Kiera Bergman was living in Phoenix when she went missing two weeks ago, but the 19-year-old grew up in San Diego. Monday night her father agreed to speak with 10News Anchor Ariel Wesler about the desperate search for Bergman. Bergman graduated from Valhalla High School in 2017. Rapper T.I. was arrested early Wednesday in Henry County, Georgia, outside Atlanta, according to authorities.The musician, whose legal name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested outside the gated community where he resides.The Henry County Sheriff's Office said T.I. was cited on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an alleged incident about 4 a.m. in Stockbridge, south of Atlanta.According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T.I. did not have his key and argued with a guard, who refused to let him in.He has since posted bond.In a statement provided to CNN, attorney Steve Sadow said T.I. was "wrongfully arrested early this morning when he attempted to gain entrance into his gated community -- where his wife 'Tiny' and his family reside.""The guard was sound asleep when Tip arrived at the guardhouse," Sadow said, using the rapper's nickname. "It took Tip some time to wake up the sleeping guard."Sadow said the rapper identified himself, was refused entry and then called his wife, singer Tameka "Tiny" Harris, who confirmed his identity."The guard continued to refuse entry without justification," the lawyer's statement said. "Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or a supervisor called the police.
