Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth, Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser, City of Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian, and Major General Paul Knapp held a news conference on Monday to update the public on the Jacob Blake case and police brutality protests across the city.Sheriff Beth said that close to 200 people were arrested last week.He added that half those that were arrested were "people from outside the community."The Kenosha Police Department, who was not at the press conference, released a press release on Sunday on Twitter detailing the arrests.In the statement, the department said 175 people were arrested. 102 of those arrests were people with "listed addresses from outside Kenosha. 702

(KGTV) - Crews worked to clear flooding on the campus of UC San Diego caused by a heavy storm moving through the county.Campus police responded just after 6:30 a.m. and placed sandbags near the entrance of the Student Health and Wellness Center. During that time, the water was about ankle deep to the officer’s boots. There were also reports of a parking garage flooded. The fire started around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The fire is burning in heavy fuels, according to Cal Fire. No structures are threatened. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was known to have a vigorous workout routine that kept her physically fit while sitting on the highest court in the country.Friday morning, following a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol, her trainer of more than 20 years, Bryant Johnson, paid his respects by doing push-ups by Ginsburg’s casket.Journalists over the years have written about her strength-training and workouts with Johnson. Pat Conroy, the House chaplain. Crowley, a Catholic, made a similar motion last month?after questions arose over the resignation.As his resolution was in the process of being tabled due to GOP opposition on Tuesday, Republican Rep. Tom MacArthur of New Jersey walked over to Crowley on the Democratic side of the House floor and accused him of "politicizing" the chaplain controversy."I just walked up afterward and said 'Joe.'
