(KGTV) — Thousands of passengers remained stranded on a cruise ship off the San Francisco coastline Saturday, after 21 people aboard tested positive for the new coronavirus this week.The Grand Princess cruise ship said they are awaiting direction from state and local health officials about where they will be allowed to port. (KGTV) — Navy officials say the San Diego-based aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is searching for a Sailor overboard off Southern California's coastline Thursday.The ship started rescue efforts after a lookout spotted what they believed to be a person in the water at about 7:30 a.m., according to the Navy. The Navy says one Sailor was unaccounted for during a command-wide roll call. The Sailor's parents identified him as 20-year-old Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Apprentice Ethan Goolsby of San Antonio, Texas, Scripps affiliate KSAT reports. The Navy has not officially identified the missing Sailor.Three search and rescue helicopters and a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat were launched to assist.The U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy aircraft, USS Bunker Hill, USS Russell, USS Howard, and USS Charleston are also helping in the search and rescue efforts. The Navy says search efforts will continue through Thursday night.No further information about the search efforts was immediately released.The USS Theodore Roosevelt departed San Diego just days ago for a sustainment exercise ahead of its second deployment this year, according to USNI News. (KGTV) - The man suspected of opening fire at a Church’s Chicken in Otay Mesa West earlier this month was arrested Friday in Memphis, Tennessee, the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed. Albert Blake is charged with shooting and killing Maribel Merino-Ibanez, 28, and wounding two men Nov. 6. The three victims were employees of the restaurant on Del Sol Boulevard. Police said the shooter had been to the Church's earlier in the day and tried to use a counterfeit bill to buy food. "The suspect got into a verbal argument with employees and left the restaurant. (KGTV) - The SAT college entrance exam given to thousands of high school students across the United States may have been leaked in Asia ahead of Saturday's test, the Los Angeles Times reported.High school junior Huzail Hassan of Rancho Cucamonga received a text from a friend who said the College Board, which administers the exam, reused a test from last fall, the LA Times reported.“I checked on Twitter and so many people had taken screenshots,” Hassan told the LA Times. “I looked it up and it was the same exam.
