You f*cking Asian piece of sh*t."In a statement issued to media following the video, Lofthouse admits making the comments and says he will be reflecting on his behavior.“My behavior in the video is appalling,” the statement read. “This was clearly a moment where I lost control and made incredibly hurtful and divisive comments. I would like to deeply apologize to the Chan family. I can only imagine the stress and pain they feel. I was taught to respect people of all race and I will take the time to reflect on my actions and work to better understand the inequality that so many of those around me face every day.” 1479

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in Northern California say a 70-year-old man has died in one of the three giant wildfires burning around the San Francisco Bay Area. The man had been reported missing and authorities used a helicopter to reach the location where they found him in the rural community of Last Chance in Santa Cruz County. The area was under an evacuation order and Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Chris Clark said it was a stark reminder of the need for residents to leave the area. The fatality was the seventh fire death in the state in the last week that has seen 650 wildfires across California, many of them sparked by lightning strikes. 693

It was in the summer, to like go big. And one of them said, 'Diagon Alley'," he said.Chambers was fully committed to making this the best Diagon Alley fans had ever seen, but he had to leave his job to accomplish this project.  He decided to create the real-life Diagon Alley in his driveway. Chambers has been a creative director for more than 20 years and focusing on the details was his forte. At this Diagon Alley, muggles are allowed in. They walk into a magical filled with an assortment of shops and items on Hogwarts'  supply list. SANA DIEGO, Calif. (KGTV) - NOAA has issued a La Nina Watch, which means a dry winter and longer fire season are possible this year for Southern California. This stems from colder water along the equator in the Pacific which has a domino effect on other parts of the world, including an increased risk of hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean due to weaker winds and also higher chances for a dry winter over Southern California because of a lack of moisture. A lack of winter rain means the fire season could be longer than usual.“So that means we enter the fall critically dry and then when you add a La Nina on top of that, it adds concern because we could likely go longer into the winter without seeing significant or beneficial rain,” said meteorologist Alex Tardy from the National Weather Service’s San Diego office. He said it’s not quite black and white though. According to the NOAA, there's about a 50% to 55% chance of a La Nina occurring this year, which will be monitored as the winter season approaches. Also, in the past 10-15 years, La Nina years and El Nino years have proven to be not as extreme as previously thought. He said while the watch has been issues and a dry winter is possible, it’s still being monitored.“It’s not time to panic but it is time to think and bring it back on your radar that fire weather is a major concern in Southern California,” he said. 1387
