Officers with the Irving Police Department found the woman, Betty Thomas, dead in her home at about 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12. “Upon arrival, officers discovered 83-year-old Betty Thomas deceased from multiple stab wounds,” said Media Relations Officer Robert Reeves.
