SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The two owners and two employees of San Diego-based pornographic website GirlsDoPorn.com were charged with federal sex trafficking counts Thursday, with prosecutors alleging the defendants coerced and threatened the victims into appearing in online pornography videos.According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, numerous young women who initially responded to ads for modeling jobs were deceived by the defendants to appear in adult films.Once the victims learned the work involved pornography, the defendants allegedly told them the videos would be distributed to private clients, and not disseminated on the internet.RELATED: San Diego porn case: Civil trial against porn website operators beginsProsecutors say the women were "pressured into signing documents without reviewing them and then threatened with legal action or outing if they failed to perform." Others were not allowed to leave the shoots -- which were conducted at various San Diego hotels -- until the videos were completed, which sometimes involved sex acts the victims initially declined to perform, prosecutors say.Website owners Michael James Pratt, 36, and Matthew Isaac Wolfe, 37, are charged along with porn actor Ruben Andre Garcia, 31, and administrative assistant Valerie Moser, 37. The charges carry a maximum penalty of life in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.Prosecutors say Pratt remains outstanding, while Wolfe was arrested Tuesday, and Garcia was arrested Wednesday. It was not clear when Moser was arrested, but the U.S. Attorney's Office said she is slated to be arraigned in San Diego federal court on Friday.In addition, FBI agents executed a search warrant Wednesday night at an office in the Spreckels Theatre Building in downtown San Diego, where prosecutors say the website operated from. The website and its sister sites allegedly generated more than million in revenue.The defendants are also currently involved in an ongoing San Diego civil trial in which they are being sued by 22 women who appeared in videos on the site. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A controversial Target store opened its doors Tuesday night in North Park, on University Avenue at the corner of Ray Street. Not everyone was on board when plans for the two-story Target were announced. North Park residents worried about the impact the retailer would have on local businesses and on parking in an already crowded neighborhood. There was also frustration when Target painted over a popular mural that had been on the side of the building for years. San Diego State University professor Dana Kuhn said economically, Target could have a positive impact on the community by creating jobs and boosting businesses nearby. Kuhn said people spending money at Target would inevitably mean they spend money in surrounding businesses. Kuhn also explained that Target will provided goods and services the community needs and that the money spent will stay in North Park. Target says the new store created 60 jobs and many of the employees do live nearby. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A driver was shot while traveling on a Clairemont street Thursday night, according to police.At around 10:30 p.m., a man was driving in the 5800 block of Chateau Drive when he was hit by gunfire, San Diego police said.ABC 10News learned the injured man was able to drive a few blocks before the SUV crashed into an electrical box in front of San Diego Fire-Rescue Station 36.Firefighters and paramedics at the station heard the crash and rushed to help the victim, who had at least one gunshot wound on his upper body.The unidentified victim was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital, but his condition is unknown as of 9 a.m. Friday.Police said witnesses reported seeing a silver 4-door sedan leaving the shooting scene. 743

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A football player was badly injured during a Homecoming football game at Scripps Ranch High School Friday night. According to a witness, the injury happened five minutes into the second quarter at the 30-year line. The witness told 10News the wide receiver laid on the field for 20 minutes before an ambulance arrived to rush the student to the hospital. School officials and the victim's sister confirmed to 10News that the football player is expected to be okay. 493
