SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are asking for the public’s help identifying several suspects they say stole 0,000 worth of jewelry from a Mount Soledad home.According to officers, the burglary happened in the Mount Soledad area in June 16, though an exact address wasn’t given.Police say the suspects used a tool to pry open the door before stealing numerous pieces of jewelry valued at more than 0,000.Most of the jewelry is large and very distinctive, police say. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Parents in Pacific Beach are calling on more enforcement at the Crown Point Elementary field.During school hours the field is only open to elementary students and then opens to the public 30 minutes before and after. Mariluci Byrnes has a daughter who plays on the field with the Pacific Youth Soccer League. She says many dog owners ignore city signs warning it's a violation to take your dog off-leash and to not pick up after them.  “Just not a good combination when you have kids playing and there’s poop all over the place," said Byrnes.Byrnes says kids and parents often step in dog poop and she worries an off-leash dog could injure a child.  The field is now in the San Diego Humane Society’s (SDHS) jurisdiction. An SDHS spokesperson confirms they’ve gotten complaints about the issue, but sometimes other calls involving safety take priority over off-leash dogs. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after a teenager was shot in San Diego’s Linda Vista neighborhood Thursday afternoon. According to police, a 17-year-old boy was walking with a 16-year-old girl near the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road around 12:30 p.m. Police say a silver sedan pulled up beside the pair and someone inside shot the 17-year-old in the stomach. The teen suffered minor injuries, according to police, who said he was uncooperative.Police say, during the shooting, the teens ducked behind a car in the area. The vehicle was heavily damaged. San Diego Police say officers searched a neighborhood near Tecolote Canyon for the suspect. Witnesses stated they saw five men driving away in a gray or light colored vehicle. 750

This means, there are no crowds, cos-players, or lines around San Diego's Gaslamp District. The good part is that all panels are free for attendees. The bad part?"We're losing 100% of the Comic-Con business," Daniel Drane, owner of The Field Irish Pub, said.For the last 22 years, Drayne has operated the establishment on 5th Avenue, a street usually packed with visitors during the pop entertainment convention. He says every year, regulars from around the world have drinks and hold meet-ups at his bar. Not this year."We're not just losing business, but there's a loss of some of the people that we've actually known for years," Drayne said.Comic-Con's COVID-shutdown does not just impact Downtown San Diego.
