RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - The young man found shot to death in a Ramona home was identified by his roommate Monday as a resident of Ukraine.San Diego County Sheriff's deputies got a 911 call reporting Sunday at 8 p.m. reporting shots fired near the home on Wood Rock Lane. They found the victim dead inside.Four people live in the home, including Ben Ledbetter. He said the victim, a 20-year-old man, worked for Ledbetter's mobile detailing business for four years. Ledbetter believes he is being targeted and said someone killed his best friend out of anger."He's 100 percent good.  His heart is strong, his will is strong.  His attitude was positive.  You couldn't kill a better person.  He was the best person you could ever know," Ledbetter said.The victim's name is being withheld until his family can be notified.Deputies shut down the area near the home until 1 p.m. Monday to search for evidence. Ledbetter told 10News that detectives took his phone, truck and clothes as part of the investigation.Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact sheriff’s Homicide Detail at 858-974-2321 or 858-565-5200.   1182

Protests in response to the death of Stephon Clark, a 22-year-old who was shot and killed by Sacramento Police on Sunday after officers confused his cellphone for a gun, caused major disruptions in Sacramento on Thursday. Most fans were unable to enter the Sacramento Kings' NBA match against the Atlanta Hawks despite a delay in the game. Protesters locked arms around the arena's gates, prohibiting fans from reaching the doors. As the game tipped off Thursday evening, only the first few rows of seats were full in the arena that seats nearly 20,000 fans. "Tonight's game began with a delay," the Kings said in a statement. "Due to law enforcement being unable to ensure ticketed fans could safely enter the arena, the arena remains closed and we ask fans outside to travel home. We will issue further information soon regarding a refund."Some fans left the area outside the arena disappointed. "I"m very disappointed," Fermin Rodriguez told the Sacramento Bee, as he was planning on seeing the game with his wife and four children. "I mean I feel their pain, but why do we have to suffer as well? We paid a lot of money for these tickets. Rescuers are searching for crew members aboard two US Marine planes that collided mid-air off the coast of Japan in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to Japan's Ministry of Defense and the US Marine Corps.At least one Marine was killed in the crash and the body has been recovered, the Marine Corps said in a statement. A second Marine was rescued and is described to be in fair condition. Five other Marines remain missing.The KC-130 and F/A-18 collided at 1:42 a.m. local time, according to a Japanese Defense Ministry statement.According to a statement from the US Marine Corps, the crash happened during an aerial refueling that was part of a routine training.
