A new poll finds broad support for special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into President Donald Trump and his campaign.Almost 7 in 10 (69%) of respondents in the ABC News/Washington Post poll said they support the special counsel's probe into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Sixty-four percent said they support looking into Trump's business dealings. Nearly 6 in 10 (58%) said they back the special counsel investigating allegations that Trump paid hush money to women who alleged affairs with him.The polling took place from April 8-11 -- meaning it took place largely in the aftermath of Monday's FBI raids of Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen's home, office and hotel room. FBI agents removed Cohen's computer, cell phone, business files and financial documents, and also sought communications related to the "Access Hollywood" tape that captured Trump making lewd remarks about women, sources familiar with the matter have told CNN.The poll results come amid mounting concerns about the future of the Mueller investigation. The President and his aides have discussed firing Mueller for months and believe they have the power to do so, according to a source. Trump is also considering ousting Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, sources have told CNN, a move that could limit the special counsel probe.The poll also finds that a majority (51%) think "the question of whether or not Trump has engaged in a pattern of sexual misconduct" is an important issue; 46% don't feel it is important.Asked about fired FBI Director James Comey, 48% of respondents said they find him to be more believable than Trump. A little more than a third (32%) said the President is the more believable of the pair.Views of the former FBI director were about evenly split -- 30% had a favorable opinion; 32% had an unfavorable one. Thirty-eight percent of the respondents had no opinion about Comey. Nonetheless, nearly half (47%) disapprove of Trump's decision to fire Comey.The poll was conducted prior to the release of excerpts from Comey's tell-all memoir. A San Diego woman spent months stealing from visitors inside some of the city's fanciest waterfront hotels, Harbor Police say.Anjeanette Crumrine, 49, allegedly stole more than ,000 worth of items -- largely from the Hilton Bayfront, Manchester Grand Hyatt, and Sheraton Harbor Island. Harbor Police say she also stole a violin worth ,000 from a classroom at Point Loma Nazarene University. "It worked for her, so she just continued to do what she was comfortable with," said Harbor Police Sgt. Michael Dye. Crumrine often targeted guests attending conventions at the large hotels. She'd walk in, pick up a suitcase, purse, or briefcase, go into an empty bathroom, pick through it, before leaving, police say. Crumrine is also accused of using the stolen credit cards to buy gift cards, and one time changed into stolen clothes inside one of the hotel bathrooms before walking out. "If it's a convention you have people moving in and out of rooms," Dye said. "It's an easy target because she would go unnoticed."Police arrested Crumrine?on April 18 after a slow speed chase through Valencia Park. But the threat of petty crime isn't over.Harbor Police report 218 property crime instances so far this year, up 22 percent from the same time period in 2017."We're just extra careful. We carry all of our stuff most of the time," said Jennifer Jones, visiting from Denver. "I don't put my stuff down. I hear too many stories like that."Crumrine is now in custody at Las Colinas, accused of, identity theft, burglary, and felony evading police, among other charges. A portion of Interstate 95, one of the main shipping thoroughfare on the east coast, was shut down for hours on on Friday after two tractor trailers overturned on a Maryland bridge.The accident occurred on the Tydings Memorial Bridge, which spans the Susquehanna River in northwest Maryland in between Baltimore and Philadelphia.In addition to the closure of the bridge the Maryland Transportation Authority also put a hold on all traffic because of Friday's high winds.MDTA also temporarily closed the Hatem Bridge — which carries traffic on US 40 and runs parallel to the Tydings — because of the wind. Northbound I-95 detoured at MD 155 (Ex89) and southbound I-95 traffic detoured at MD 222 (Ex93). A preschool teacher was arrested on Wednesday after deputies say admitted to biting a 2-year-old student on the face.Heather Marcotte, 28, has been arrested on a charge of felony cruelty to a juvenile in Louisiana.The mother of a 2-year-old student called the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office saying that when she picked her son up from school, she noticed the bite mark on his cheek.The mother said an administrator at the school informed her that her son’s teacher reported that she left the mark on the child "when her mouth accidentally hit his face" and that the teacher had been terminated following the incident, according to the Sheriff's office.Marcotte admitted to deputies that she bit the child after she became frustrated and agitated with his behavior.
