There will be huge crowds moving through airports to visit family and friends for Thanksgiving. It won't be easy for air travelers, especially on Wednesday, Nov. 21, ValuePenguin reports. Most travelers know to get to airports well ahead of their departure times. But seriously, go early — it will be the busiest day of the year for airports, and the extra time is crucial to making it to a terminal on time. 583

NEW YORK (AP) — Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend has been denied bail and will remain behind bars on charges she recruited girls and women for the financier to sexually abuse more than two decades ago.British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell appeared in a video court hearing in Manhattan, where she pleaded not guilty.Maxwell, 58, has been held without bail since her July 2 arrest at her million-dollar New Hampshire estate. She was charged with recruiting at least three girls, one as young as 14, for Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 1997.An indictment alleged that she helped groom the victims to endure sexual abuse and was sometimes there when Epstein abused them.Epstein killed himself in August 2019 while awaiting sex trafficking charges. 754

NEW YORK CITY — Protests erupted in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn’s for a second night Wednesday over New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's new restrictions on schools, businesses and houses of worship in the New York City "cluster zones" that are seeing an uptick in coronavirus cases. Some residents in those "cluster zones" have said the state is unfairly targeting Orthodox Jewish communities as it tries to stamp out hot spots before they spread.Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio have insisted the new restrictions are based solely on science and data around coronavirus-case clusters.Demonstrations turned violent Wednesday night when a journalist was allegedly attacked by a group of protesters he said surrounded him and kicked and hit him.Jacob Kornbluh, who identified himself as a reporter for jewishinsider.com, said hundreds of community members attacked him, calling him a "nazi" and "Hitler." 928

NEW YORK – Wall Street clawed back the last of the historic, frenzied losses unleashed by the coronavirus, as the S&P 500 closed at an all-time high Tuesday. The benchmark index notched a modest 0.2% gain to beat its previous record high set on Feb. 19, before the pandemic shut down businesses around the world and knocked economies into their worst recessions in decades. The S&P 500′s milestone caps a furious 51.5% rally that began in late March.Tremendous amounts of aid from the Federal Reserve and Congress helped launch the rally, which built momentum on signs of budding growth in the economy. 616

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — The man in charge of the FBI in Indianapolis said a school shooting at Noblesville Middle School West earlier this year could have been prevented.According to FBI Special Agent in Charge Grant Mendenhall, most school shootings are preventable, including the shooting at Noblesville. The difficulty is people reporting the concerns."They might not know exactly what the shooter is going to do, but in the vast majority of cases, somebody in retrospect had recognized some type of behavioral change that could have been significant and again, not a very high percentage of people reported it to law enforcement," Mendenhall said. The findings are all part of a new study released by the FBI that studied active shooter incidents over 13 years. The report states, in part:  822
