(CNN) -- It was an impressive disguise: the snow-white beard, the oversized glasses, the wheelchair.But it was when the seemingly frail and elderly passenger reached security at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport -- India's busiest airport -- that he caught the attention of staff.At around 10.45 p.m. on the evening of September 8, the individual was hoping to get on an overnight flight to New York."He posed as if he was very old and incapacitated," Shrikant Kishore, a senior official with the Central Industrial Security Force, told CNN.Dressed in a white tunic and trousers, with a white turban and black slippers, the passenger proved reluctant to be frisked."Our screener asked the person in the wheelchair to stand. He said that he cannot stand. Our screener asked if he would stand with support. He reluctantly stood up."That's when the officer noticed that while the passenger's beard and hair were white, the roots were black. He also was working hard to avoid the officer's eyes.When asked for his passport, the individual handed over documentation claiming that he was Amrick Singh, born in Delhi in February 1938, making him 81 years old."He was definitely not 80 years old. His skin was of a younger person," Kishore told CNN.Upon further questioning, the man told security staff that he was, in fact, 32-year-old Jayesh Patel, a resident of Gujarat state.As he was holding a fake passport, he was detailed by security and handed over to immigration authorities.Kishore told CNN that he doesn't know what the current status of the case is or the reason behind the impersonation.Indira Gandhi International Airport, commonly known as Delhi Airport, is the 12th busiest airport in the world, with close to 70 million passengers traveling through it in 2018. 1792

(KGTV) -- Firefighters battling the Holy Fire took care of a dehydrated fawn Monday afternoon. Officials with the Cleveland National Forest tweeted that the firefighters stumbled upon the fawn nd discovered she was heat exhausted and dehydrated. The men can be seen in a photo giving the fawn a much-needed drink of water before helping get her back on her feet.  391

(KGTV) — A Delaware school is apologizing after the infamous Rosanne Barr rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" recorded in San Diego was played before a recent high school football game.The Seaford School District said Wednesday they are unsure of how the recording was played before Seaford High School's Tuesday night football game, according to the News Journal of Wilmington.A letter from Superintendent David Perrington said the pregame proceedings with be improved and they are looking into the recent fumble.Students and families were shocked when Barr's version of the national anthem, recorded before a San Diego Padres game on July 25, 1990, blared over the intercom to usher in the game.Perrington's letter says the district usually plays the national anthem before games and will pay a district-approved version in the future.Need a reminder of how the infamous rendition played out? (KGTV) — Businesses closed in preparation for Disneyland's plans for a 700-room hotel now face an uncertain future.A handful of Downtown Disney businesses closed as part of Disneyland's plans for the luxury hotel that would have been built in the district's west end.AMC 12 Theatres, Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone, Earl of Sandwich, Alamo Rent-a-Car, and the west-end Starbucks were all closed to make room for the hotel.RELATED: Disneyland pulls plug on luxury hotel, citing loss of tax breaksA Disney spokesperson told 10News that Earl of Sandwich had reopened as of Oct. 1.Despite this, the future of the businesses is uncertain, the spokesperson noted, "Downtown Disney continually changes and new and exciting things are always happening. (KGTV) — Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, said a new ad featuring him on behalf of President Trump's coronavirus response was taken out of context.Fauci told CNN in a statement that the ad, which features a clip of Fauci, took his words out of context for the benefit of President Trump. Fauci said he didn't consent to be featured in the ad and that he doesn't provide any political endorsements.In the ad, the clip shows Fauci during an interview saying, "I can't imagine that anybody could be doing more.""In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate. The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials," Fauci said.According to CNN, Fauci's comments were from a March interview with Fox News, in which he comments on the White House's coronavirus task force for its round-the-clock effort to respond to the pandemic.For context, Fauci's quote described the task force's work as: "We've never had a threat like this. The coordinated response has been ...There are a number of adjectives to describe it -- impressive, I think is one of them. We're talking about all hands on deck.
