A driver who ignored barricades on a Pawnee County Road was hospitalized after his vehicle was swallowed by a sinkhole, authorities say.Four county deputy units and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the wreck on County Road 5715 just outside the Arkansas River community of Blackburn before 11 p.m. on Wednesday. According to investigators, the man drove around multiple ODOT barricades. A fisherman reportedly witnessed it. The road has broken apart in pieces in recent days, with entire portions of it missing due to massive flooding.The vehicle had to be left in the sinkhole overnight because crews were unable to recover it. They are expected to remove it today.Mercy EMS transported the man, who has not yet been identified, to a Tulsa hospital so he could be treated for head trauma, officials say. A 5-year-old child suffered life-threatening injuries when, according to witnesses, a man either threw or pushed the child from the third floor of the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, police said Friday.Bloomington police Chief Jeff Potts told reporters that police were called to the mall at 10:17 a.m. local time, and initial information suggested a child had fallen from the third level of the mall's interior to the first level.Additional information from witnesses indicated the 5-year-old might have been pushed or thrown, Potts said.Police officers gave the child first aid along with witnesses, Potts said."The child did suffer significant injuries," he said. A construction worker was killed while working on Disneyland property in Anaheim, California, early Thursday, police said.The 38-year-old man was working for a contractor for the park when he became pinned under a large metal plate in a trench, Anaheim Police Sgt.
