NEW YORK (AP) — The Rolling Stones are postponing their latest tour so Mick Jagger can receive medical treatment.The band announced Saturday that Jagger was told by doctors "he cannot go on tour at this time." The band added that Jagger "is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."No more details about 75-year-old Jagger's condition were provided.The Stones' No Filter Tour was expected to start April 20 in Miami. NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio — Police in North College Hill, Ohio arrested an alleged cookie thief.Noel Hines, 31, is accused is stealing more than ,600 worth of Girl Scout Cookies. That's 400 boxes of Thin Mints, Tagalongs or Trefoils based on the 2018 price of per box.According to information from North College Hill police on Facebook, Hines took a large order of cookies to sell for a local troop on March 30. When it came time to turn in funds from cookie sales, the Girls Scouts of Western Ohio never received funds from Hines, according to court documents.The Girl Scouts organization and police officers attempted to contact Hines for six months regarding the payment. Police arrested her on Tuesday and charged her with theft. Hines is expected to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Wednesday."That's the way the cookie crumbles," police posted on Facebook. 874

NEW YORK (AP) — Actor Carol Sutton, a fixture on stages in her native New Orleans, has died from complications from COVID-19. New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell announced the death. Sutton was 76. Her roles included the 1989 comedy “Steel Magnolias” and the TV series “Queen Sugar.” After making her acting debut in the late 1960s in Dashiki Project Theatre productions, Sutton appeared in productions such as “The Last Madam,” “Native Tongues” and “A Raisin in the Sun.” Her recent credits included work on the remake of the series “Roots,” “Treme,” “True Detective” and “Lovecraft Country.” 599

NOBLESVILLE, Indiana — Concertgoers at a Rascal Flatts concert in Indiana on Thursday night were left wondering what happened after the event ended abruptly.Due to a "security concern," everybody in the band had to leave the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center, according to a Facebook post from Rascal Flatts."The safety of our fans, band and crew is always the top priority for us, so we are so thankful for everyone who jumped into action and for your understanding," the post reads. Caitlyn Conlon had front-row tickets for the concert. She said at the beginning of the concert, everyone felt safe, and one of the band members said to the crowd, "With everything going on in the world today, we are Americans first before anything else. We are all one and just forget everything going on and let’s all become one tonight.”Later in the concert, the keyboard player started to play another song, then abruptly stopped, she said. Conlon said they were told by security that they had to leave right away. NORFOLK, Va. - The first presidential debate of 2020 was all some voters needed to watch before heading to the polls.“[I] tuned into most of the debate last night, and that really solidified my decision to vote today,” said William Jimenez.But the thought of this year’s election is nerve-wracking for some voters.“Regardless of political persuasion and who you intend to vote for, people across the political spectrum are all experiencing that kind of stress,” said Gary Roftus, the director of Fairfield Psychological Associates.Jimenez says this election is important.“A lot is on the line. A lot is at stake,” he adds.Election stress - according to the American Psychological Association, it’s affecting more than 50% of Americans.Gabrielle Harrell felt the pressure at the polls Wednesday.“It’s been very stressful. As I was filling out the ballot, I was triple-checking to make sure I’m checking the right box,” Harrell said.Roftus says people are already stressed with the coronavirus.“We’ve never had an election where we are told is the most important election ever in the middle of a pandemic,” he adds.As we get closer to November 3, Roftus says politics comes up in his counseling sessions.“Inadvertently or directly because it's bothering them, people are bringing up the election all the time,” he adds.Roftus says the additional voting options are affecting stress levels.“Sometimes some people are uncertain as to where they should vote, whether they should vote by mail, is their ballot going to be accepted?"For people who want to get rid of some of that election stress, voting early is an option.Roftus says it gives some people some comfort and relief.
