Dickson County, Tennessee boy, Joe Clyde Daniels, was beaten to death by his father before his body was disposed of, court documents have revealed. Over the weekend, Joseph Ray Daniels was arrested and charged with one count of criminal homicide in the 5-year-old’s disappearance.According to court documents, Daniels admitted to striking Joe Clyde "repeatedly... with [a] closed fist" until the boy died. He received injuries to his upper torso, head and face.  Daniels then allegedly placed his body in the trunk of his car and disposed of it in a rural area.Joe Clyde had been reported missing last week, prompting the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to issue an endangered child alert.  After several days of searching, the elder Daniels was charged.The boy’s body has not yet been found.Joe Clyde’s grandmother spoke with Scripps station WTVF in Nashville over the weekend, saying that she has been cooperating with law enforcement after her stepson was arrested in the case.“It’s shocking because you raise a child from way back, and you think you know him. (KGTV) -- One of the El Cajon Police Department’s K9s, K9 Jester, is being assigned a new partner after his current partner resigned from the department.After working with Jester for the last two and a half years, Officer Jordan Walker voluntarily resigned to work for another agency, according to the department. Walker said he offered to pay for Jester, who was brought in through a Ben Roethlisberger?Foundation grant. K9s cost anywhere from ,000 to ,000 to bring in and train, according to the foundation.Because Jester is still in excellent health, he was assigned to work with a new partner, Officer Randall Gray. EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - The pandemic created a surge in food insecurity in San Diego and the purple tier restrictions are making it worse. Neighbors are stepping in to fill the bellies of those in need.In El Cajon a bright yellow wooden box is perched next to the sidewalk. On it a sign reads, "Blessing Box".Inside it's stocked like a mini grocery store, with grains like rice and pasta, beans, canned vegetables and protein. Single serving hot chocolate, tea and oatmeal line the second shelf. On the top shelf, snacks, drinks, and items to round out a meal are ready for the taking.Andrea Roberts heard of a Blessing Box in 2018 on social media and immediately knew she needed one.Her friend had the same intuition and had her husband craft the wooden box. They surprised Roberts by dropping it off on her porch.Roberts painted the box, affixed a stand to it, and cemented the stand in the grass next to her sidewalk in September 2018.Momentum has been growing through social media and the urge to help during the pandemic."Yesterday was jam packed, I had several people come and bring stuff, so much stuff they left the excess on the porch," Roberts said.She lifted her garage door to unveil piles of food and shelves of canned food, illustrating the willingness to give by the community."I'm overwhelmed, really overwhelmed." Dozens of goats invaded a suburb of Boise, Idaho, on Friday after walking off the job.The goats are workers for a rent-a-goat business called -- what else -- We Rent Goats that hires the herd out as an eco-friendly way to clear weeds.The goats were munching at an Ada County Highway District retention pond when they broke through a fence and escaped, briefly overtaking a street in the West Valley area of Boise around 7 a.m., CNN affiliate KBOI reported.Their arrival created a social media sensation, with goat-themed puns invading Twitter. The Columbus Dispatch, for instance, tweeted, "This looks like a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad situation." #Boise was still trending as of Friday afternoon.Boise resident Kyle Bryant told CNN he went to see the goats after his granddaughter told him what was happening."It was was the best thing I have seen since we moved to Boise three years ago," Bryant said. During a phone interview with Fox Business on Thursday morning — his first TV interview since contracting COVID-19 — President Donald Trump said that while he hasn't been tested for the virus recently, his health is continuing to improve."I'm essentially very clean," Trump told Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo.Trump added that he would be tested again for the virus "very soon" to determine if he's still infected.The President also added that he doesn't "feel" like he could spread the virus to others."No, I don't think I'm contagious. I don't think I'm contagious at all," Trump said.According to the CDC, people infected with COVID-19 can still spread the virus, even if they are asymptomatic. The virus is typically active in humans for about two weeks, though it can last longer.The White House has refused to report when Trump last tested negative for the virus, but Trump announced his positive test on Friday, meaning he may be contagious for about another week.White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on Wednesday that Trump would like to begin working from the Oval Office and that White House staff would implement safety precautions to make that happen. The CDC recommends those who are infected with the virus remain quarantined.Trump also falsely said Thursday that he's now "immune" to COVID-19."Remember, when you catch it, you get better, and then you're immune, you know?" Trump said. "As soon as everything goes away for me, you're immune."There are several documented cases where people who had previously contracted COVID-19 caught it again — though they suffered less severe symptoms. The CDC says that estimates indicate that COVID-19 antibodies make a person immune for about three months.During his Thursday interview, Trump said he assumed earlier this year that he might catch the virus at some point."But I did look at the numbers say I'll probably catch it, and I'll get better," Trump said.
