(AP) — Alabama police say a dispute over crab legs at a dinner buffet ended in a brawl that left two people facing misdemeanor charges.Huntsville police officer Gerald Johnson says he was eating at the Meteor Buffet restaurant when a fight broke out.Johnson tells WHNT-TV that diners were using service tongs like fencing swords and plates were shattering, and a woman was beating a man. Johnson says diners had been waiting in line for crab legs for more than 10 minutes, and they lost their tempers once the food came out.The station reports Chequita Jenkins is charged with assaulting John Chapman, who suffered a cut on his head. Chapman is charged with disorderly conduct.Court records aren't available to show whether either person has a lawyer. 776

Hurricane Delta has made landfall near Creole, Louisiana, as a Category 2 hurricane, but as it's moved inland, it has weakened to a Category 1 storm.WATCH LIVE: According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm made landfall at 6 p.m. CT with maximum sustained winds of 100 mph.A Florida Coastal Monitoring Tower near Lake Arthur, Louisiana, sustained wind of 77 mph and a gust to 96 mph, the NHC said. Louisiana has taken the brunt of the impact of the 2020 hurricane season. On Monday, his body was brought to the US Capitol rotunda where Bush will lie in state until Wednesday morning, an honor reserved for government officials and military officers.Democrats and Republicans remain locked in a standoff over funding for President Donald Trump's border wall that could trigger a partial government shutdown in the coming days and Washington is still reeling from a divisive midterm campaign season where the leaders of both parties were targets and Trump frequently went on the attack on the campaign trail.But for at least a few hours, the two parties appeared to put their political differences aside.As crowds began to gather outside, a ceremony was held inside the rotunda where Capitol Hill's highest-ranking Republican and Democratic lawmakers joined together in paying tribute to the former President.Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stood side-by-side as a wreath was placed alongside the casket. Dealers are offering more incentives than ever before to get drivers back on the road, and because of the coronavirus, you can stay home and find a good deal.“It’s the way the world is going now,” said recent car buyer, Stephanie Given. “Everything’s online.”Given is an ICU nurse working on the frontline of the pandemic, and in the midst of the health crisis, badly needed a new car.“We needed that second vehicle, the more reliable vehicle that we knew would be reliable in this time,” said Given.Her nearly 15-year-old ride was giving out, but, walking in to a dealership made Given anxious. “I have been under a little stress in my work life and personal life, and I was kind of dreading the stress of buying a car,” she said.So, she started her search online. “I found the car online through the Carmax app, and I was kind of let down when I saw the car was in Las Vegas, and it was just a couple seconds and they said, ‘We can ship it to you,’ and I said, ‘What? That’s amazing!’” said Given. Not only did she find the car she was looking for online, she did all the paperwork at home. “I kind of had a hybrid experience. I did my part online and then came to the dealership to pick up and take possession of the car,” she said.Given’s experience is now becoming the norm. Dealers are making it possible to do everything, from shopping to financing, from your couch. We’ve seen deals like deferred payments for three to four months, but we’ve hardly ever seen both of those at the same time,” said Brauer.
