"I was actually surprised the number of times it actually happened. The guys could remember seven to 15 times each. Times that by 18 guys and that's a lot," said Williams.Before the pandemic, Williams says he rarely would see people purchase homes sight unseen. But as long as contracting the coronavirus is a concern, home buying virtually could be here to stay. Just know that if you are thinking of buying a home this way, there are things a realtor won't be able to fully give their opinions on, such as the neighborhood."That's something that is always largely on the purchaser. There’s several laws and regulations around what a real estate professional can share and information they can give on a neighborhood. So, a lot of times that's always up to the consumer, anyways, right, to get a good feel for the neighborhood or understand the dynamics or school or surrounding area," said Lewis.Overall, make sure before you swipe right to buy a home, meet it first, if at all possible. When approaching someone about their views on COVID-19, and their habits, he said it’s best to remain calm and open-minded.“It is throwing everyone for a loop,” Stanfield said, “So instead of saying that you’re really getting worked up about this, that’s probably not the best initial approach. It may be ‘I can see that this is really upsetting to you, can you tell me a little bit more about that?'”He said trying to understand, before attempting to be understood, is a good starting place. “Am I willing to consider their perspective, or am I in this to prove them wrong? Which in the end gets us nowhere in all of this, so I think those basic things are really important and critical.”If you know why someone’s habits are a certain way, it’s possible to compromise.“I know some people say compromise is a dirty word, in this case, I think compromise really gets at the fact that I’m wanting to meet someone or be a part of someone’s life the best I can," Stanfield said.If the social awkwardness persists, a ton of people is going to therapy to sort it out right now.“I sometimes equate therapy to taking your car in to get an oil change. In the next video recorded, one can hear the sound of spray paint before the man emerges from the dark. Hours later and blocks away, a camera in another alley captured a man without a cap spray-painting a similar tag on the wall of another home."It's a nuisance is what it is," said Copeland.Copeland's family has lived at his home for some four decades."You can see they've tagged my wall a few times. We've repainted, but they came back and re-tagged it," said Copeland.Copeland says his wall has been hit three times in the past six months."It's never-ending deal ... there's always tagging.
