A historically active Atlantic Hurricane season is nearing a close, but there appears to be at least one more threat looming in the Caribbean Sea.Hurricane Zeta is currently churning just south of the Yucatan Peninsula with maximum sustained winds of 80 mph — and is currently projected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast later this week.The National Hurricane Center issued a hurricane watch for portions of the Louisiana and Mississippi coasts on Monday. The hurricane watch runs from Morgan City, Louisiana to the Alabama/Mississippi border. The hurricane gained hurricane status Monday afternoon after Hurricane Hunters flew through the storm. In addition to gustier winds, the Hurricane Hunters found Zeta's pressure has dropped. According to the National Hurricane Center's latest update, Zeta is projected to make landfall on the eastern part of the Louisiana coastline on Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning. At that point, officials believe the system will be "at or near hurricane strength."Zeta is the 28th named storm of 2020 — the second-most all-time in a single year. And no region has been targeted more by tropical storms this year than the Louisiana coast.The Louisiana coastline has already been targeted by four major storms this year — Cristobal, Laura, Marco and Delta. A man accused of posing as an attorney in Madison, Tennessee is now facing more charges, according to police documents.Sex crimes detectives have been working for a year to determine if alleged rapist Wayne Willemsen is connected to other sexual assaults. He was just indicted on rape and kidnapping charges stemming from an incident in 2017.Police said he branded himself as an attorney in Madison and used his position to meet his victims. The 43-year-old was accused last March of raping one of his clients. Willemsen was already on the state sex offender registry for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old in Michigan.The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation also charged him several months ago with impersonating an attorney.Detectives said aren't done looking into his behavior and urged anyone who may have been victimized by Willemsen to call the Sex Crimes Section at 615-862-7540 or 615-862-8600. Previous Story: 938

A fatal crash that closed the westbound lanes of I-696 near Detroit Tuesday involved a driver who ran out of gas on the side of the freeway. The Michigan State Police said a driver that ran out of gas was parked on the right shoulder. His father came to the scene to bring gas. As the driver was filling his tank with gas, and his father sat in his car with the child of the stranded driver, another driver on the freeway lost control and hit both vehicles. The driver filling his tank was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car that lost control sustained minor injuries. MSP said the suspect driver is in custody and a blood draw was performed at a nearby hospital. There are no indications of alcohol or drugs at this time, said MSP. Speed does appear to be a factor, MSP said. The freeway reopened shortly before 5:30 p.m. 897

A Florida business owner can continue to fly the flags of the branches of the military after an employee's Facebook live video prompted an ordinance review by city officials.On Monday afternoon, the store manager for Jaguar Power Sports — a motorcycle dealership in Jacksonville — went live on the dealership's Facebook page and claimed a city official with the Regulatory and Compliance Department had cited the business for flying flags of the various branches of the military. The employee claimed that the business was cited for each flag on top of the building."These flags that are flying overhead should not be a problem," said the employee, identifying himself only as Shaun. "... There’s one thing I’m not going to tolerate and that is disrespect for our military in a military town. We should not get cited or ticketed for flying flags representing our country.”The employee also claims the city official who cited the dealership also told a customer in the store at the time — a military veteran — that the customer had done "nothing for our country."Jaguar Power Sports' video has since been shared nearly 250,000 times and received more than 5 million views as of 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday.Regulatory and Compliance Department Chief of Staff Brian Hughes told the Jacksonville Times Union said that Jaguar Power Sports had been issued a warning and had not been fined.
