The rankings contained 11 categories, with Kia winning four categories, Toyota winning three categories and Honda winning two categories. U.S. News and World Report stated that naming the cars that provide the best value helps consumers balance finding a cheap car and a good car. "A car has significant ongoing costs, like repairs, fuel, and insurance," the report says. "To measure the kind of value a car offers, we start with real-time transaction prices reported by our partner TrueCar. We then combine that information with five-year total ownership costs from Vincentric. White Claw is a victim of its own success: The hard seltzer brand confirmed a nationwide shortage in the United States, sparked by the drink's rising popularity."We are working around the clock to increase supply given the rapid growth in consumer demand," Sanjiv Gajiwala, White Claw's senior vice president of marketing, told CNN Business. "White Claw has accelerated faster than anyone could have predicted."The company didn't specify when stock will return to normal, but Gajiwala said it has been "allocating product to our distributor partners to keep all markets in stock the best we can and will continue to do so until we get back to our normal safety stock position."White Claw has blown up recently, sparking memes and trend pieces. Sales of the drink grew 283% to 7.7 million in July compared to the same period last year. Its sales also accounted for nearly 55% of all hard seltzer sales for the week of July 4, a 200% increase since 2018's Fourth of July sales, according to data from Nielsen.The beverage, which is the industry leader, was launched by Mike's Hard Lemonade maker Mark Anthony Brands in 2016. That same year, Anheuser-Busch bought SpikedSeltzer, which led to Bon & Viv. Boston Beer began manufacturing Truly, another popular hard seltzer.It took White Claw a while to catch on with drinkers. Now, people are seeking out drinks with fewer calories and less sugar, and seltzer fits the bill. Two people have been bitten by sharks off the coast of North Carolina in the past 14 days, and a third person was bitten by an unknown animal during that time period, officials said.On Sunday, an 8-year-old boy was bitten by an animal "believed to be a shark," according to Village Manager of Bald Head Island Chris McCall.McCall says the child suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident off Bald Head Island's South Beach.The boy had puncture wounds on his leg and was transported off the island to receive medical treatment, McCall said.McCall said authorities don't know what type of shark was involved in the attack.This is the second attack in the state in the last two weeks.A 17-year-old girl lost her left leg and two fingers on her left hand in a 780
