Disney is allowing guests at Magic Kingdom to wear Halloween costumes for the first time during normal park hours.The park recently announced in a blog post that guests of all ages can wear costumes from Sept. 15 to Oct. 31.In June, the park canceled its annual Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party because of the coronavirus pandemic.But this year, guests would be able to get into the Halloween spirit with costumes, themed foods, and merchandise, the park said.According to the park's website, costumes cannot contain sharp objects, they must be family-friendly, they can't have weapons, and anyone over the age of 14 cannot wear a mask with their outfit.Guests under the age of 13 can wear a mask, but it cannot cover the entire face, and their eyes must be visible.The park said costumes that "reach or drag on the ground" such as "full-length princess dresses" are not allowed.The park also added that all guests must still wear a face-covering while at the park. 978

EL CAJON (KGTV): Christmas season is always busy at Family Christmas Tree Farms in El Cajon. But this year, they've been busy for months, trying to save their crop.Excessive heat and drought in the summer, combined with an unusually warm fall, had a significant impact on their Monterrey Pines.During July and August, when temperatures reached 100 degrees, the farm doubled the amount of water it gave the trees.Meanwhile, warm weather in the fall kept the trees growing longer than usual. That's because areas of Washington and Oregon also had unusually warm years.Fortunately, he says, the trees handled the heat well, and they didn't lose any of the crops. DUNDEE, Michigan — A 39-year-old woman was charged in connection with a fraudulent dog sale scheme.Police said Vanessa Young sold twelve sick puppies to unsuspecting buyers.Most of the dogs were sold for 0. Young told the buyers the dogs were healthy and registered with the American Kennel Club. However, the buyers discovered the claims to be false and the dogs became very ill shortly after the sale – and some even died, said police.
