"We’re proud to celebrate the human-animal bond by welcoming all domesticated companion animals to our stores. We’re so glad that our guests and store partners got to experience this fun and happy moment with Oliver, the African Watusi, because that’s what Petco is all about."Video showed the steer being led into the store, before employees greeted the animal and Browning and posed for photos. The company's policy is designed to protect animals and customers and covers "properly-leashed domesticated companion animals." 1046

(KGTV) -- The massive fire at the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is hitting a San Diego school especially hard. Children at the Notre Dame Academy in Carmel Valley recently visited the sacred site during a school trip. Francesca Pinney, who is in 8th grade, said stepping inside such a holy place is something she will never forget."I remember it being an incredibly majestic and beautiful cathedral and it was incredibly inspiring to my Catholic faith being able to see this in person," said Francesca. The mood at the school on Monday afternoon was one of sadness and shock. "During Holy Week, the fact that the cathedral is burning down is just truly awful. It's so tragic," said Francesca, who visited Paris last year. Other classmates visited the famous attraction in just the last few weeks. Clare Deloux, a 7th grader, is one of them. She was stunned to learn about the massive fire that captured headlines around the world. "I was in shock. I didn't expect this to happen. It's very sad that this is amazing and that history was made even building that, " said Clare. The loss is also personal to their teacher. Marielle Hacher is from Paris. "It's a symbol of France and Catholic France for all the Catholic. It's very sad to see that it is burning, and hopefully, they gonna restore it," said Hacher. The students have already decided to use their next service project to raise money to help with the restoration; meanwhile, they will continue to pray for the people of France. "Our faith is not only building, we are the living bricks of the building, it is a terrible tragedy but our faith is going to build it up, and the important thing is we are all united," said Sister Angelique Therese. 1717
A "very bizarre" car crash in Canada resulted in the arrests of five people who were found naked after the collision. On Monday, officers with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police were called to the scene of a crash involving a car and pickup truck in Nisku, Alberta, according to CBC News.At the scene, officers arrested three adults and two "youths." All five were naked when police caught them, according to the Edmonton Journal. The crash apparently happened after police said the suspects kidnapped three people — a man, a woman and an infant — from a home and forced them into the car. The man, who was apparently locked in the car's trunk, managed to escape the moving vehicle and flag down a man driving a pickup truck.CBC reported that the passerby managed to get all three kidnapping victims into his truck and was driving them away when he was rammed by the suspects, which forced his truck into a ditch.None of the victims were injured in the ordeal. The kidnapping suspects have not been named and it's unclear why they were naked at the scene of the crash. A Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigator described the incident as "very bizarre" to The Guardian. The two underage suspects were released without charges. The three unidentified adult suspects will face charges for kidnapping and resisting arrest, according to the Edmonton Journal. The kidnapping victims and suspects apparently know each other, police told CBC.Clint Davis is a reporter for the Scripps National Desk.
