State officials said it appeared a tornado had hit the residence.In Indiana, a 4-year-old boy is missing after strong currents from heavy rains swept him away in Delphi, Indiana.The child, Owen Jones, was playing in Deer Creek on Thursday when he was swept away by fast currents.Heatwave in the southeast, cold in the westAs the stormy weather continues in some parts of the country, the holiday weekend is set to herald in the informal start of summer with record high temperatures forecast around the southeastern US.CNN meteorologist Allison Chinchar said new records could be set for high temperatures in dozens of cities, in states from Louisiana to Virginia, setting the stage for potentially deadly conditions.Anyone who spends time outdoors this weekend should keep hydrated, wear light-colored and loose-fitting clothing, and try to stay in the shade, she said.Several cities could see triple-digit temperatures. They include Columbia, South Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and Tallahassee, Florida. Macon, Georgia, is expected to reach 100 degrees on Memorial Day, which would break its record high for May.But farther west, Chinchar said temperatures will remain far below average.Cities such as Las Vegas; Phoenix; Reno, Nevada; and Fresno, California will be 20 to 25 degrees below normal. The oldest of the five teens accused of throwing a large rock off a Michigan overpass and causing a man's death will spend 15 additional months in jail.Kyle Anger, who turns 20 this week, was sentenced Tuesday to 39 months in prison. He will get credit for the 740 days he's spent in jail since his arrest two years ago.Anger pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.In October 2017, 32-year-old Kenneth White died after a 6-pound rock crashed through his windshield as he drove on I-75 in Michigan.Anger planned the prank. The FCC reportedly fielded nearly 1,300 complaints from viewers of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, many of whom said that the performances of Shakira and Jennifer Lopez was too risque for national television. The 1,300 complainants were just a small fraction of the nearly 100 million viewers that watched the Super Bowl. The complaints were brought to light this week thanks to an open records requested WFAA obtained. WFAA noted that the exact total of complaints were 1,312, but some appeared to be duplicates. Complaints came from 49 of the 50 states. According to a copy of the complaints obtained by WFAA, hundreds of complainants referred to the show as "porn" or "pornography."
