Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' son is running for Congress in New Hampshire.Levi Sanders, 48, said in a statement first reported by WMUR and since posted on his campaign website that he is entering the open-seat race to replace retiring Democratic Rep. (KGTV) — A man was killed Thursday after a tree branch broke free and struck him in Valley Center.A 54-year-old man was walking in 31000 block of Oak Glen Rd. just before 5 p.m. when a large eucalyptus tree branch broke loose and fell on him, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.Deputies and fire officials responded to provide medical aid, but the man's injuries were fatal and he died at the scene.Authorities did not reveal the man's identity. 488

Two men were stabbed inside a Macy's store at the Mall of America in Minnesota just before closing Sunday night, the Star Tribune reports. The suspect was taken into custody following the incident. Police said it was an "interrupted theft" that led to the stabbings. According to police, the suspect waited until two men left the dressing room and then attempted to steal their belongings. The men interrupted the suspect, who pulled a knife and stabbed the victims. Other shoppers subdued the suspect until police arrived.The victims had non-life threatening injuries. 607
