Football coach Derrick Clark was a convicted drug dealer when he was hired two seasons ago for New Haven Endeavour Middle School in New Haven, Michigan. Four people have died after they were swallowed up by a massive sinkhole in a Chinese city, despite desperate rescue efforts to save them.According to state media, the sinkhole opened up around 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Dazhou, Sichuan province. Dramatic video from the scene showed people suddenly plunging through the pavement as it collapsed beneath them.Two victims died after being pulled from the pit and rushed to a hospital, state media said. Former US Senate candidate Roy Moore has filed a countersuit against Leigh Corfman, one of the women who accused him of making unwanted sexual advances.Moore is asking an Alabama state judge to stop all proceedings in Corfman's defamation lawsuit, calling the lawsuit "frivolous and groundless," according to the countersuit filed late Monday in Circuit Court in Montgomery County, Alabama. Corfman sued Moore in January."This is and has been a political attempt to smear the good name and reputation of Judge Roy Moore, and we will not let this injustice continue," Melissa Isaak, one of Moore's attorneys, said in a statement. Following the recent death of a fraternity pledge, Florida State University has banned all fraternities and sororities.Tallahassee, Florida police said Pi Kappa Phi pledge Andrew Coffey, 20, died at an off-campus chapter party on Friday, Nov. 3. Investigators collected alcohol bottles at the scene but have not released an official cause of death for Coffey. The bottles collected were scattered on the porch of the home where the party took place.Coffey was found unresponsive just after 10 a.m. Friday. 528
