SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego Police are investigating after a woman who was shot in Barrio Logan Friday night died.Police were called to the 2400 block of Harbor Drive around 9 p.m. after receiving reports of a woman, later identified as 36-year-old Stephanie Kinman, who was shot in the area.When they arrived, officers found Kinman on the sidewalk near a vehicle.The Kinman was taken to the hospital where she later died.Throughout their investigation, detectives learned that the woman was shot near a pizza restaurant on the 1000 block of Dewey Street before being driven to Harbor drive by a “male companion.”The man told investigators that the victim got into a fight with a man and a woman. After the fight ended, Kinman was shot while getting into her car, police say.The shooter hasn’t yet been captured. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego FBI agents are asking the public for help find a suspect who robbed a bank in the College Area Wednesday.The man, described as a black man in his late 30s to early 40s and standing about 6-feet tall, entered a Union Bank branch in the 6000 block of El Cajon Blvd. at about 11 a.m. Investigators say the man handed a teller a demand note and received an undisclosed amount of cash. The proposal would make it easier for houses of worship and fitness centers, impacted by the pandemic, to utilize county parks. The proposal aims to speed up the permit process and waive fees.Public health orders have hindered the operations of many houses of worship and fitness centers after they were forced to close their indoor areas. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police identified Monday the man shot and killed in the Shelltown neighborhood. Ricardo Moran, 49, was identified as one of two men who was shot on S. 42nd Street Saturday at 1:35 a.m. Officers received multiple 911 calls about gunshots. When they reached the scene, they found Moran and an unidentified 56-year-old man suffering from injuries. Witnesses heard a vehicle speeding away following the gunshots but were not able to provide a description. Moran died at the hospital. The second victim is expected to survive, police said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Gas and Electric is opening several community resource centers as thousands remain without power amid planned outages. The company posted on its website Saturday that the centers will offer water, snacks, phone charging, ice, water trucks for livestock and up-to-date outage information. As of 1 p.m. Saturday, less than 1,000 remained without power in San Diego County.
