After two and a half weeks of historic destruction, the Camp Fire in Northern California is 100% contained, but the search for remains threatens to push the death toll over 85, where it stood early Sunday.It's already the state's deadliest fire.Officials found two bodies in Paradise and another in Magalia, both of which sit just west of the Plumas National Forest, roughly 100 miles north of Sacramento.Since it began November 8, the fire has destroyed almost 14,000 homes, 514 businesses and 4,265 other buildings. (AP) -- Authorities say seven people were fatally shot in Southern California at an illegal marijuana growing operation.The crime scene was discovered around 12:30 a.m. Monday when Riverside County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at a residence in the community of Aguanga about 50 miles north of San Diego.Deputies found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds and paramedics took her to a hospital, where she died.Six more people were then found dead. A woman was arrested and charged in the attempted murder of a homeless man in Nashville.Police say, Katie Quackenbush, 26, allegedly shot 54-year-old Gerald Melton on Aug. 26 near Music Row.Melton was critically wounded and is being treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.According to police, Melton was trying to sleep on the sidewalk at 3 a.m. at 19th Avenue South and Chet Atkins place.He was reportedly disturbed by exhaust fumes and loud music coming from a Porsche SUV.Melton said he asked the driver, Quackenbush, to move the vehicle. Police say the two began yelling at each other, and Quackenbush eventually got out of the car and shot Melton twice before running up the street with another woman.Her father, Jesse Quackenbush, released the following statement, saying his daughter fired two warning shots not meaning to hit Melton. 883
