Desiree Perez told the station her sixth-grade son Kelvin received the award for “Most likely to get lost in a crowd.” The award was reportedly signed by five teachers. The teacher at Normandin Middle School apologized to the mother, but told her teachers already left for summer vacation and that nothing could be done, according to WCVB. Yang filed papers with the New York City Campaign Finance Board Wednesday to join the race. Yang, a CNN commentator following his run for president, now arguably has the highest national profile of any of the candidates. The former ambassador for global entrepreneurship under President Barack Obama has not officially announced his run.
