The top legislator said China is deepening its fight against corruption and committed to building an anti-corruption legal and system framework with Chinese characteristics.
RIYADH, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- China and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) announced here that they are committed to working closely to conclude a comprehensive free trade agreement (FTA) within 2016.
During Xi's talks with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday, the two leaders welcomed the restart of the China-GCC FTA talks, saying they were "delighted" to see the substantive progress that has been made.
"Instead of looking for proxies, China promotes peace talks in the Middle East; instead of seeking any sphere of influence, China calls on all nations in the region to take part in the Belt and Road Initiative; and instead of attempting to fill any 'vacuum', China aspires to build a network of mutually beneficial partnerships," he said.
China should intensify structural reforms, raise effective supply and make the supply structure more adaptable and flexible following an innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development model.
