TORONTO, Canada (KGTV) -- Canadian law enforcement officials have released disturbing surveillance footage showing a masked suspect posing as a delivery man firing a crossbow into a woman.The video, which was captured Nov. 7, 2018 but released this week, shows the suspect approaching the 44-year-old victim's porch holding a large cardboard box. The suspect rings the doorbell, exchanges words with the victim, then fires an arrow into her chest, leaving her with life-threatening injuries. The suspect then fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle parked nearby, police said."After a brief conversation, the suspect shot the victim with an arrow using a crossbow that was concealed inside of the box," Peel Regional Police said.Investigators said the attack was premeditated, targeted, and isolated "based on the conversation that occurred between the victim and the suspect." No further details about the conversation were disclosed.Police said the suspect used an arrow "designed to hunt large game such as moose and deer and inflict the maximum amount of damage possible."Officers are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect in the attempted murder case. Three of America's largest grocery chains, Kroger, Walmart and Wegmans, have joined ALDI and Target in issuing a recall for peaches in connection with a nationwide Salmonella outbreak.On Saturday, Prima Wawona expanded a recall of peaches shipped by the company to include those bagged and loose peaches that had been sold across the country.The new recall includes Kroger stores and its affiliates — including Jay-C, King Soopers, City Market. Fry's, Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Foods Co. and Smiths — as well as peaches sold at Walmart and Wegmans.The possibly contaminated fruit was sold between June 1 and Aug. 3Consumers should not eat the peaches. Instead, the CDC says to throw them away, even if some of them were eaten and no one has gotten sick.Once the peaches have been discarded, health officials suggest washing and sanitizing the places where the produce was stored, like countertops, refrigerator drawers and shelves. The CDC also urged restaurants, retailers, suppliers and distributors not to sell or ship the recalled peaches.The FDA also advises that anyone who doesn't remember when they purchased Prima Wawona peaches or those that aren't sure who supplied their peaches should throw away peaches in their fridge out of an abundance of caution.As of August 19, 2020, CDC is reporting a total of 68 Salmonella cases across nine states.The CDC is investigating to find the source of contamination and to identify other retailers that may have sold tainted peaches.Symptoms of Salmonella infection include:Most people infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps six hours to six days after being exposed to the bacteria.The illness usually lasts four to seven days, and most people recover without treatment.In some people, the illness may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized. THORNTON, Colorado – The three victims of Wednesday’s shooting at a Thornton Walmart were identified Thursday afternoon by the coroner’s office for Adams and Broomfield counties.They are 52-year-old Pamela Marques of Denver, 66-year-old Carlos Moreno of Thornton, and 26-year-old Victor Vasquez of Denver.Carlos Moreno was a structural trades technician at the Auraria Higher Education Center in Denver, the campus confirmed to Denver7 television station. Family members of Moreno’s also wrote on Facebook that he had been killed.“I am in shock,” wrote a niece of his. “Please keep his wife and kids in your prayers. This is such a great loss to our family.”His cousin wrote on Facebook: “Carlos was a good husband, father, grandfather, cousin, friend man. I am blessed to have had you in my life. Please pray for the family.”Victor Vasquez was a father of two young girls and had another child on the way, according to his fiancé and a GoFundMe page started by a family friend.His fiancé told Denver7 she was “completely distraught” by Vasquez’s death.Police arrested 47-year-old Scott Ostrem Thursday morning in connection to the shooting. Three NBA teams — Atlanta Hawks, Utah Jazz, and Memphis Grizzlies — have announced that they would allow a limited number of fans at games during the 2020-21 season amid the coronavirus pandemic.Last season, teams played in a bubble setting in Orlando, Florida. This season, teams will be traveling from city to city once again.Earlier in November, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced they would have a limited number of fans at the beginning of its season, but on Monday, the team changed course and decided to not allow fans at games due to rising COVID cases in the state."For months, we have worked in close collaboration with Chesapeake Energy Arena, the City of Oklahoma City, local health officials, and the NBA to put into place thorough health and safety measures to allow for reduced seating capacity," the team said in a press release. "However, as we review ongoing and concerning trends in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in Oklahoma, we want to exercise an abundance of caution to help control the spread of the virus in our community. Therefore, the Thunder has made the decision to begin the season without fans in the arena."The Utah Jazz announced that they would allow a limited number of fans at their home games. According to KSTU, Vivint Arena will allow 1,500 fans in the suites and lower bowl. Fans must wear face coverings and social distance while inside the arena.KSTU reported that the arena would reduce capacity in elevators, retail stores, and restrooms.Another NBA team that's allowing fans this season will be the Atlanta Hawks. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a small number of friends and family will attend the first few home games at State Farm Arena. Approximately 1,500 fans will be able to watch the Hawks game on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.And according to the Memphis Grizzlies, the seating capacity at the FedExForum will be at about 20% capacity. The team also announced that they would install more than 300 hand sanitizing stations would be placed throughout the arena for easy and ample access for guests.The 2020-21 season is set to tipoff Dec. 22, with teams playing 72 games.
