SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The names of a couple found dead in their Torrey Highlands home and the son accused of killing them were released by San Diego Police Wednesday. Xiaoqun Fang and Yi Cheng, both 58 years old, were due to arrive in San Francisco last Saturday. Concerned family members called police, asking for a welfare check at the home at 7405 Via Rivera. Upon arrival, police looked through a window and saw a body on the floor. Fang and Cheng had both suffered upper body trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The driver of the McLaren sports car involved in a fiery fatal crash on Interstate 805 Thursday and the mother and daughter who died have been identified.Trevor Heitmann, 18, was behind the wheel of the 2014 sports car that collided with an SUV, killing himself, and a 43-year-old woman and her 12-year-old daughter, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner. The mother and daughter were identified by a relative as Aileen and Aryana Pizarro. The medical examiner is using an alternative means to identify the bodies because of how badly they were burned, according to the California Highway Patrol.Heitmann was traveling at a high rate of speed heading southbound in a northbound HOV lane at about 4:30 p.m. near La Jolla Village Dr. before the collision, CHP said. ANTX West 2019 is roughly two weeks long and features the brightest in the military, academia and industry demoing the latest advancements to see if they are ready for the battlefield. “This isn’t a trade show - this is ‘get people together let’s go do things and see how it goes,’” said Rear Admiral Donald Gabrielson, “this is innovation.” Much of technology of the the last several years has focused on human and machine interactions with virtual reality. “We can give feedback to the industry and say this is eligible for rapid prototyping or this needs some science and technology investment,” said Richard Byers, a systems engineer with the Navy.
