The Democratic National Committee is suing the Trump campaign, Russia, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and several associates of President Donald Trump alleging a grand racketeering, hacking and fraudulent conspiracy that harmed Democrats through WikiLeaks' publication of internal party emails during the 2016 presidential campaign.Those named in the lawsuit include several top Trump advisers who attended the now-infamous June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower, longtime Trump confidant Roger Stone, former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former campaign adviser George Papadopoulos and others.The 66-page lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court on Friday lays out how the Trumps curried favor in Russia through their family business, and then Russia allegedly worked with Trump advisers before the presidential election to disseminate the spoils from a cyberattack of the DNC.The Democratic Party says the conspiracy and the hacking hurt their relationship with voters, chilled donations, disrupted their political convention and subjected their staffers to harassment. The family whose dog died on a United Airlines flight in March has reached a settlement with the carrier, the family attorney and the airline said Thursday.The 10-month-old French bulldog named Kokito was inside an overhead bin on Flight 1284 from Houston to New York after a flight attendant told the passenger to put it there.When the plane landed at LaGuardia Airport, the dog was dead.The financial details of the settlement are confidential as part of the agreement, according to Evan Oshan, the attorney representing the Catalina Robledo family.United spokesman Charles Hobart said the airline began a comprehensive review of its animal transport policy and is collaborating with American Humane?to improve its practices. The Department of Defense announced on Friday the formation of the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, which will be tasked with looking into reports of UFOs.The Pentagon says that task force’s mission is to detect, analyze and catalog unidentified aerial phenomena, better known as UFOs, that could potentially pose a threat to U.S. national security.“As DOD has stated previously, the safety of our personnel and the security of our operations are of paramount concern,” the Department of Defense said. “The Department of Defense and the military departments take any incursions by unauthorized aircraft into our training ranges or designated airspace very seriously and examine each report. This includes examinations of incursions that are initially reported as UAP when the observer cannot immediately identify what he or she is observing.”Sen. Marco Rubio confirmed the formation of the task force last month in an interview with Miami’s WFOR-TV."We have things flying over our military bases and places where we are conducting military exercises, and we don't know what it is and it isn't ours, so that's a legitimate question to ask,"Rubio said.In April, the Pentagon released videos of “unidentified aerial phenomena” captured by Navy pilots. The city of Philadelphia has settled with two black men arrested at a Starbucks in the city. Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson settled for apiece while the city committed 0,000 for young entrepreneurs, according to the New York Daily News. The two men were arrested after sitting down at the Starbucks without ordering anything. Starbucks also reached a settlement with the two men, the company said in a statement. The deal includes a financial settlement. "I want to thank Donte and Rashon for their willingness to reconcile," Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson said in the statement. "I welcome the opportunity to begin a relationship with them to share learnings and experiences.
